P.B. (or portal Bryan) is so touch starved that even the slightest contact with something (be it person, object, or animatronic) startles him.
This being one of the reasons why he prefers to use his power at a distance instead of touching the inhabitants of his "Set/dimension"
He will only touch something if absolutely necessary, otherwise he will avoid any type of physical contact at all costs.
