059: Past Events

When Wang Cheng and Wang Ziyu left the clothing store, they carried three or four bags, all of them full of things, and there was another pile of daily necessities waiting downstairs. Finally, they had to rent a taxi at the door and let the driver take them directly to the expansive Beijing.

At this time, it was almost noon. The banner at the entrance of Beijing University was still there, but there were not as many people entering and leaving as in the morning, and the senior brothers and sisters also left to eat. The siblings went to the dormitory.

There was no one in the dormitory, probably because it was time for lunch. The last roommate had not yet come. She was the roommate sleeping on Wang Ziyu’s bunk.

Wang Cheng helped his sister make the bed and put a mat on it while she put her toiletries in the bathroom. Their bathroom was relatively large and there was a shelf on the slanted edge of the washbasin: arranged on it were Mili and Pang Chunjuan’s items, both combined taking up half the space.

When Wang Ziyu came out, she saw that her second brother was helping her with the fan she just bought.

Although the dormitory was air-conditioned, it was impossible to keep it on all the time, and it was not good to blow too much, so the two bought a small fan after discussing it. After they had done everything, it was 12:30. They rested for a few minutes before going down to eat.

The cafeteria of Beijing University had not yet opened. Students who came to the school early could only find food outside or eat the food they brought.

There were many snack bars near Beijing University. Tomorrow was the day when school would start, but these snack bars opened for business several days in advance. Throughout the street, there were people in almost every snack bar. Some of the larger stores had more people, some had just two people. In the end, they picked a family restaurant that wasn't particularly full, and ordered two bowls of noodles and a plate of beef with sauce.

"Second Brother, this isn’t as delicious as your food." Wang Ziyu said quietly to Wang Cheng after taking a few bites.

"Of course. Do you think everyone is on the level of your second brother? Even this snack bar that has opened a chain is not." Wang Cheng was rather humble but rather proud: on the level of narcissism, he could definitely rank first. Maybe narcissism was engraved deep on his bones.

Wang Ziyu was silent.

‘I can't compliment brother in the future!’

After lunch, Wang Cheng told Wang Ziyu to stay at the dormitory. He returned to the hotel with a few bags by himself. The check-out time for the hotel was tomorrow afternoon. He only took two days off, so he planned to return to Shanhai City tomorrow morning; the tickets had already been booked.

Wang Cheng took his clothes out of the bag, and cut off the labels directly. He bought everything, and he didn't plan to return it.

On this trip, the brother and sister spent 40,000 to 50,000 yuan directly. If Mother Wang knew, then she would definitely say that they spent money arbitrarily. Of course, unless Wang Cheng was stupid, he wouldn’t tell her.

Being alone in the room was a bit boring, so Wang Cheng simply watched TV.

The TV in the deluxe double room was connected to the Internet, and one could order any program that was on the Internet themselves. Some movies that had not yet streamed elsewhere were available here. For example, a movie that Cheng Cheng recommended to him a few days ago was said to be a very popular movie. It had been in theaters for less than five days. Today was the fourth day, and the attendance rate was very high.
