063: Brick Smashing Event

When he returned home, Wang Cheng didn't talk to his parents about it. He put the key in the living room and went back to the room, grabbing his pajamas and taking a bath.

Neither Mama Wang nor Papa Wang found anything wrong. The two sat in the living room and watched TV. After a while, a pleasant ringtone rang. It was from Wang Cheng’s phone that he had forgotten to grab. Mama Wang was a short distance away, so she reached for it.

"Wei Dandan?"

Mama Wang read the name on the screen and immediately looked at Papa Wang. The name sound like a girl’s when she said it. Their second son who was a monk for more than two decades had finally found a woman?

You can't blame anyone for thinking that Wang Cheng was handsome, but they hadn’t seen any girl he had been close to since childhood, and even when he was in high school, they didn't hear about which girl he was close to. They sometimes wondered if it was stupid for their son to be a monk.

Wang Cheng came out of the bath and the phone had been put back in place. There was no difference between the two old faces from before and now. It wasn't until he wiped his hair while sitting on the sofa next to them that the eyes of the two turned to him. They weren’t watching the news on the television.

"Dad, Mom, why are you looking at me like that?" Wang Cheng was a little embarrassed in his heart because he was hiding something from them.

Papa Wang gestured to Mama Wang.

"A girl named Wei Dandan just called you, and your mom picked it up, a very polite girl. She said she was your classmate in high school." Mama Wang said calmly.

Wang Cheng finally understood, and lest they misunderstand, he quickly explained, "I was with the boss to do business a while back, and met her in a hotel where she worked as a waiter."

Although his words left the relationship between the two clear, Mama and Papa Wang did not believe that there was really nothing between them. If there was not something in the past, how could they exchange mobile phone numbers immediately after encountering each other, and even have phone calls?

Wang Cheng didn't explain too much. The more this kind of thing was explained, the more unclear it was. He watched television with the two of them and returned to his room with an excuse.

Wang Cheng had taken a leave for Monday and didn't have to rush to work the next day. He left after breakfast. Coach He, the driving instructor, called him two days ago and told him that he had submitted his name to the testing. He had attended the driving school for the required time.

Yuan Xia was also notified. By the time he arrived, Yuan Xia was already waiting at the meeting place. At this point, it was ten minutes before the assembly time, but a few had not yet arrived.

Wang Cheng and Yuan Xia greeted each other, and they talked about the recent events. At about half-past nine, Coach He came.

The testing area they were going to was not very far from here. It was apparently only 25 minutes by car, but Coach He was a very punctual person. If it was time to leave, he wouldn’t wait for anyone. Everyone got in the car.

While whispering in the car, Wang Cheng found that there was one person who did not come. The consequence of not being punctual was really terrible.

"Now young people take time less seriously, and are less and less punctual." Yuan Xia helplessly looked at Wang Cheng.

"When you become responsible for your own life, that's what happens." Wang Cheng put his hands on the back of his neck and crossed his legs. He was actually a person who didn’t take time seriously, or else he would have gone back to his hometown after graduating from high school.
