087: The Abduction

Wang Cheng and Chu Yifeng had lunch together. At half-past one, they separated, one returning to the company and the other driving back to the Guan’s Village.

Because Chu Yifeng was near the company in less than five minutes, although he was late, no one dared say it to him. Now the company was gradually on track and the number of employees was increasing. The atmosphere in the company was not as casual as before.

Seeing Chu Yifeng, employees had a hint of awe in their eyes. Although the seniors said that the boss could often be seen in the company now, the boss still felt so mysterious and unattainable.

"Have you noticed that the boss's mood looks good today?" Female colleague A at the front desk glanced innocently at the boss's upright and handsome back. ‘I was right to choose this company. I didn't expect the boss to be such a young and handsome man.’ She then secretly told this another female colleague at the front desk.

After Tang Sisi was fired, the company recruited two more front desk workers again. They looked beautiful, and they were both women, but they didn’t think things they shouldn’t like Tang Sisi. They were more responsible.

"You're dazzled." Female colleague B rolled her eyes. The boss always wore a salty and indifferent expression every day. She really couldn’t see where the boss looked like he was in a good mood. There was a limit to her imagination.

"You're just dazzled. I only thought the boss was in a good mood." Female colleague A did not explain to her when she heard that she did not agree with her point of view. Sometimes, you could tell someone’s mood from more than just their facial expressions. Although she didn’t understand it much, she could feel it.

On the other side, Wang Cheng received Yuan Xia's call halfway home.

He and Yuan Xia hadn’t seen each other for a long time. When he was still working at Huaying Real Estate, he would occasionally meet with Yuan Xia on a rest day and have a meal or something. Because their age was not much different, when they talked, there was no barrier at all.

In his impression, Yuan Xia had always been a very gentle person with a cheerful personality, but when the phone was just picked up, Yuan Xia had a tense and urgent voice.

"XX Street, XX Road, come and save me."

As soon as the inexplicable words were finished, the call was hung up. Wang Cheng didn’t even have time to say a word. He was surprised, but without thinking about it, he immediately turned the car and went to the address that Yuan Xia said. Thanks to Yuan Xia, every time the two went out for dinner, Yuan Xia would take him to a place he liked. The address he said was one of the places he used to take him to eat, because that was one of Yuan Xia’s favorite places. So they had been there two or three times, and Wang Cheng already knew the way by heart.

It was a little far away. It took him a while to get there, but he didn't see Yuan Xia on XX Road.

Wang Cheng was not discouraged. He rushed over for a while. Yuan Xia may have moved to another place, but he must be nearby. He drove inch by inch and looked around, while pulling out his cell phone to call Yuan Xia's cell phone. Then, he kept trying.

It was now past three o'clock in the afternoon, and there were very few people on the street. After two or three minutes, Wang Cheng saw a dim alley with a few pulling figures. Take a closer look, one of them was Yuan Xia, being towed and dragged by several other men.

A bright beam of light came in, accompanied by a few short car horns. The several people in the alley were taken aback. When they turned around, they saw a car parked at the alley. The glare of the lights made them subconsciously raise their hands to block their eyes.
