She's an angel
But her wings are the size
Of a butterfly's
And her halo is a transparent glass

Diamonds for eyes
Fixed on the skies
Waiting to reach heaven at last

Fell to this earth
A brilliant light in such a dark world
Broken angels, broken people
Shattered and yet we never see them

They carry our souls to the end

He's an angel
But he's broken inside
Starving for light
And needs someone to just understand
He's an angel
Always willing to fight
Never asked why
Now he's longing for the battle to end

Fell to this earth
