Turbulence

You absolutely hate flying

With a passion

I mean it's like really really bad been scared forever since you can remember

But it's a very important part of your job

You fly on a plane once a week

And it was a running joke with the Matilda's

Every flight you needed your glasses and your blue AirPod max and your weighted dinosaur 

Today you were flying from Sweden to Australia which is a 28 hour flight

The team knew you were very nervous for this upcoming flight today.

The team decided every 5 hours you will switch seats so you stay entertained

Today you are starting with sitting in between Steph and Caitlin

"Okay y/n/n you've got this Caitlin and I've gotcha you know that" Steph says patting your back

The trainers have prepared with sleeping medicine any medicine you could need for this

This is the longest flight the teams taken in a very long time

Once situated Caitlin sets up love is blind for you to watch

The plans about to take off and you are gripping onto Steph and Caitlin's hands for dear life

"Breath darlin" Caitlin reminds you

Once in the air it gets a little bumpy

But then it's smooth sailing

"Remember if at any time you need medication just tell us" the trainer says and you nod great fully

After two episodes you get bored and try to fall asleep on Caitlin's shoulder

You nap on her shoulder for about an hour when you are woken up for the first meal of the flight you picked grilled chicken caesar wrap

It was pretty good

"Good job y/n/n we are almost done with four hours of the flight" Steph says sweetly

After everyone eats it's time for your first seat change

Next duo you're sitting with is Alanna and Macca

"There is our favorite travel partner" macca says sweetly laying a blanket over your legs and setting up music for you

Alanna ends up getting you to play uno with her and macca which was a lot of fun macca kept seeing your cards because you aren't the best at hiding them

After awhile Alanna tells you to try and sleep some more

You can't so you get some Benadryl which knocks you out cold

You wake up to a loud crack of thunder and the plane shaking

"Hey y/n/n go back to sleep" macca says painicking slightly

You close your eyes and put your music all the way up trying not to hear the thunder

You can't fall asleep so you just hold onto macca arm for dear life

"Everything's gonna be alright just a rough patch of clouds hun" Alanna says rubbing your back

You heart felt like it was gonna beat out of your chest and your breathing had quickened

At some point you tired yourself out and fell asleep macca's arm

Alanna took a selfie and sent it to the group chat

Razzle dazzle- our shining star 🤩

The mother- this is the worst turbulence I've ever had

Cooneyx- cha cha and I have her next we have movies to keep her entertained

Stephy- good good keeping the child alive and well she even ate her whole first meal she almost never eats when flying

Macca- she fell asleep on my arm and I can't feel it anymore

Caitlin- well she was tranquilized earlier

Cha cha- we are making her sound like a dinosaur 😂

Razzle dazzle- to be fair she does get feral on planes

Carp- this is gonna be the worst jet lag

The mother- shit I hadn't been thought about that

Macca- the dinosaur is stirring be ready to switch

Cha cha- 🫡 captain

You sit up groggily rubbing your eyes

"How long was I out" you ask

"Just a couple hours hun ready to switch?" Alanna asks

You nod sleepily and stand up making your way over to sit with Kyra and charli

"Rise and shine" Kyra says sweetly

"We have movies to watch" charli says excited

You sit down  and start watching inside out they know how emotional it makes you

Oh get to the part where bing bong disappears and you burst into tears

"It always gets to me" you say hysterically crying

"Oh come on you made her watch inside out" you hear Caitlin shout

" she always cries everyone in the team knows that" Ellie says laughing

"We love our big softie y/n/n" Hayley says

"Why did he have to just disappear" you cry

You hear all of them groan

"God dammit charli Kyra you guys had one job" mini says

"She's distraught now" Steph says

" I'm kidding I'm good now" you say laughing at yourself

You watch rescuers down under next

Only three hours left of the flight so you switch to sit with Ellie and Hayley

"Hey squirt" Ellie says

"There's my girl" Hayley says pulling you into her side

"I miss you too raz" you say honestly

You end up helping Hayley tie bows all over your dinosaur

"She looks so perfect now" Hayley says proud of her creation

"We are making our dissent" the pilot announced

You look over at Hayley excited

"We are almost done y/n/n" Ellie says patting your thigh

The landing was pretty smooth

"Alright everyone enjoy the amazing country Australia" they announced

Everyone starts clapping

"I'm so ready to get off of this plane" you say loudly and your whole team starts laughing at you

Once off you jump into Caitlin's arms

"There's our girl you did great love" caitlin says kissing your cheek

Steph comes up behind you and joins the hug

"I did it" you squeal and Hayley and Ellie jump on you

" oof oof" you say as they land on you

"Woah okay don't break the kid" mini jokes as Kyra and charli join the group

"Who's ready for some Aussie sun" you ask and they all laugh walking out with you
