Matilda's one shots

Concussion

It was just before halftime 12 minutes left in the first half

Against England the game was tied 2-2

Playing England was fun because it was most of your club teammates

Steph is taking the corner and it comes perfectly into the middle you jump to head it and it hits off your head but when coming down you get landed on and fall back hard getting the wind knocked out of you

"Amazing goal assist by y/n y/l/n" the announcer roars as the crowd erupts

You gasp for air sitting up

"Oh my god y/n/n" Alessia panics seeing you clutch your stomach

Leah and your teammates are around you in seconds

Alessia is holding your hands

"Breath y/n/n" Leah says patting your back

"Can we get some water over here" Caitlin yells to the trainers

"Well it looks like y/l/n is struggling after that last header" the announcer says

"Ellie help me stand her up" Hayley says from behind you

They both grab and arm and help you stand up

Alessia hugs you

"I'm so sorry for landing on you y/n/n" alessia apologizes

"Les it was an accident could have happened to anyone" you say giving her a soft smile

Once you've collected your breath and you've gotten some water

"Are you sure you are good to play on" the ref asks

"Yes just got the wind knocked out of me sorry for the delay" you say

The ref pats you on the back as you walk off

Whistle blows and you are guarding Beth when you feel super light headed and black out

You feel arms grab you

Next thing you know you are face down in the turf

Whistles blowing all over

You can see cleats running towards you

"Y/n/n hold on love helps coming" Beth says

Going in and out of consciousness

"Y/n can you hear me"

Darkness

"We need a stretcher"

Loud noise overwhelmingly loud

You feel yourself getting rolled over and open your eyes a little

You can see macca kneeling down near you she's talking you just can't understand her

Caitlin is holding your hand

Alessia holding your head secure

Kyra and charli are looking worried

You are so confused

What's happening

Bright light is being shined in your eyes

Medics are lifting you with the help of your teammates and Alessia

Strapping you onto a backboard

"You're gonna be okay y/n/n" Hayley says kissing your forehead

Alessia is crying as they are taking you away from her she kisses your hand before letting go

You start crying from how overwhelmed you are

All you see is bright white lights while being rushed down a hall

"She's definitely concussed we are gonna transport her" one of the trainers says

Next thing you know your in the hospital getting fluids through an iv and in a very dark room

"Hey kiddo you've got a pretty bad concussion" Tony says quietly

"I'm sorry coach" you say groggily

"No none of that your health is all that matters this is just a game y/n now there are some people here to see you" Tony says letting in your teammates

"Hey baby how are you feeling" Hayley asks coming up to you and giving you a gentle kiss to the forehead

"I don't remember much honestly just bits and pieces" you say quietly

"That's okay y/n/n you just need to rest" Ellie says resting her hand on your knee

"I never have felt my heart drop so fast in a game y/n/n" Caitlin says sitting on the bed next to you

You rest your head on her shoulder

"I'm really sorry guys" you say

All of your teammates came and hugged you and showered you with kisses and gifts

Alessia and Leah and Beth rushed in

"Oh my god y/n/n your poor head" alessia says kissing you all over your head

Leah and Beth both give you a hug

You end up falling asleep on Caitlin's shoulder with les and Hayley sleeping on the couches in the room
