So excited just found out I actually get to go to the Mexico vs Matilda's match coming up anyways hope you enjoy!

Today was a friendly against Mexico

You weren't in the starting line up but you expected that

Others were so much better this past camp

Your sitting next to teagan and Kyra

Sam scores an amazing goal the whole bench is up jumping and screaming

Mexico makes a great shot on goal but macca makes an amazing save

Teagan keeps elbowing you when she gets excited

You lightly shove her laughing

Next thing you know Hayley scores

You jump up cheering for your girlfriend

She runs celebrating and points toward you than does heart hands you blow her a kiss

"You softy" Teagan teases you

You blush

"Hey she's perfect" you say

Paying attention back to the game

Going into halftime 2-0

Tony says for you and Kyra to warm up

You hold onto kyras forearm as you both swing your legs stretching

Kyra pushes you a little causing you to lose balance

"Kyra stop it" you say shoving her back

Once stretched you and Kyra run sprints

Once warmed up you and the team go on the field

The whistle blows

Mini passes you the ball and you send it to Steph

Caitlin losses the ball and you pressure the player getting a clean slide for a throw in

Ellie throws it in you pass it to Hayley who runs up the wing sending it to Sam who scores you all run and jump into the group

10 minutes remaining in the match

Mexico is getting a lot more violent trying to get on the scoreboard

You steal the ball running up the wing and you go tumbling out of bounds groaning

A Mexico player jumped kicking you in the rib trying to get the ball

You hear yelling and cussing and see your girlfriend shoving the person that kicked you and the rest of the team yelling at the others

The whistles blow and the ref pulls out a red right away sending the player off

"Seems like y/l/n got knocked out of bounds from an illegal kick" you hear announced

You gasp in shock grabbing your side once the pain kicks in

You stand up leaning down to fix your socks

Sucking in a breath standing up feeling a sharp pain holding your side

"Woah hey y/n/n sit down for a second" Caitlin got to you first

She helps hold you up

The girls surrounded you shortly after

"Where are you hurt" Hayley asks

"I'm good guys I promise just knocked the wind out of me" you say giving a reassuring smile

Ellie hugs you and you wince slightly during the hug

The game continues and Caitlin scores

You keep grabbing your side it's really starting to hurt

Kyra is next to you and sees your grabbing your side

"Woah hun let me look at it" kyra says lifting your shirt to see purple and block bruising

The whistle blows games over

"Ellie come here" kyra shouts and Ellie runs over

Ellie sees what kyras looking at on your rib cage

Ellie looks over and waves more people over

Hayley runs to you after celebration and she's holding your face

"Hey baby look at me please" Hayley says softly the other mind their business knowing how much pain your in

You suck in a breath and wince

"Why didn't you stop babe" Hayley asks

A tear falls down your cheek and Hayley wipes it quickly

"The game was almost over" you say weakly giving her a smile and a shaky breath

She kisses your cheek before joining the others looking at your bruising

"Call medics over please" Hayley says to someone

Alanna is next to you holding your hand

"Babes your doing great" lani says trying to cheer you up

You lean into lani not being able to take the pain now that medics are touching the sensitive area

"Ouch" you say when they poked it

The medics keep poking and feeling it to make sure you didn't break any of your ribs

"Okay let's head back to the locker room and get you a compression wrap and no ice bath today" the trainer says

Hayley helps you walk back slowly not to exert yourself

"My brave girl" Hayley says kissing your cheek

As you cry softly walking through the locker room

Everyone watches sad how much pain your in

They get you set up on a table

And you turn into Hayley's shoulder crying from how much pain the wrapping is causing

Everyone in the locker room tenses at the sound of you crying harder

Once wrapped and given a heavy dose of pain meds

You follow Hayley so she can change to get on the bus

Caitlin gently wraps you in a hug and kisses your cheek

Charli and Kyra help you carefully change without causing too much pain

Charli slides your crocs on your feet when a wet curly haired Hayley comes out smiling seeing as you aren't in as much pain anymore

She leans down and captures your lips in a kiss

"I'm not sure how much sleep I'll be getting tonight I roll in my sleep" you say upset

"Oh trust me love I know you roll half the time I end up with one of your limbs in my face" Hayley says laughing while wrapping her hair up in a towel

You pout

"But I will get you as comfortable as I can and if you can't sleep we can watch love is blind baby all night long if we have to" hayley says

"I love you" you say

Hayley smiles down at where you are sitting
