Chapter 4: Introductions and false truths.

"Ah, NB!Y/n. That's a nice name!" M! Complimented as NB! smiled politely before taking their hand back.

"Well I would hate to keep you guys here." They said picking up a large box to bring into their apartment. But they didn't leave. Instead, they started picking up boxes themselves and placing them in the house. "Hey um, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think we're at that level where I trust you two coming into my house. Obviously because we just met, but also because there's a specific way I'm unpacking. But if you want, maybe we could meet up for some coffee tomorrow. That is, if she is okay with it." They said gesturing to F! who was behind M! holding an unfamiliar cat. 

"What? The cat was cute and I love animals." F! said casually, letting the cat go back to a person. Most likely the owner. F! looked back to see M! glaring at her. "Whaaaaaat?" She asked 

"You kidnapped that owners pet." 

"It's their fault for not watching it." 

"It doesn't matter. That was still rude." M! replied firmly before turning back to NB!. "Anyways, we would gladly go for some coffee tomorrow. Is 10 good for you?" He asked. NB! just replied with a simple nod. "Cool. We'll leave you alone now. See you tomorrow!" M! and F! waved before leaving NB! to themselves. 

(NB! focusing, 2nd Pov) 

You sighed after putting the last box in the house. "Jeez, why do I have to have so many boxes? Half of these aren't even stuff for everyday life." You mumbled, starting to unpack a box for your bedroom. After opening the box, you saw it was a mattress. You pulled it out of the box and placed it on the floor and plugged a phone charger in. You checked the time on your phone. 11:47.  "I'll just be on my phone for a bit before bed." I mumbled. 

After an hour, you finally got off your phone and went to bed.

You woke up to see the time. 9:37. "Shit, I woke up late." You hissed jumping out of bed and ripping open a box to find clothes. You landed on something casual but not bland.

After pulling your clothes on, you left the house. "Please don't have the boss come over while I'm gone. Really don't want to get in trouble again." You mumbled to yourself sarcastically, walking out of the house.
