AN: Oh wow 1129 words how surprising,,, anyhowsits this chapter has slight mentions of alcohol so warning you all in advance

In another part of paradise, a shape with similar exhaustions to the cyan hero was up and awake. Having had fell asleep at his computer, watching some video online to alleviate some boredom. Staring at the reflection on the black screen, the demonic dj had yawned, his eye blinking away any sleep that had stubbornly stuck to him. This was Feeonix.

And he had a very big day today, today was the party that he and a few others had planned, and as the dj and host, he was the one expected to be at the location. With an unintelligible mumble, Feeonix had gotten up and went to the washroom. Brushing through his hair lazily and finding the outfit he was gonna wear for the event. Near all of his wardrobe was generally punkish in theme, "...some things don't change as you grow up, I suppose." Feeonix commented to himself, adjusting his black collar and messing with the straps of his tank top.

With one final look in the mirror Feeonix left the washroom, grabbing a bag of chips and sitting on the couch. Checking the time on his phone, the cyclops demon relaxed as he saw that he'd still have an ample amount of time to pack up his location to head to the party with his mates. Boredom getting the better of him, he decided to text the cyan hero.

He had given Cycy tickets about a few weeks ago, it was just common practice for the dj at this point. Originally he had done it when he had began to start to make these parties, Feeonix would be an asshole if those heroes had to pay of tickets even after what he's done to them... including everyone else on paradise. Even after a decade and countless assurances, and forgiveness from others... not that he really deserved them, Feeonix couldn't help but feel guilty.

I mean, who wouldn't? Being the catalyst of the destruction and corruption across paradise... Feeonix didn't want to dwell on it too long. It always tended to get him upset.

Right. The text. Feeonix managed to send him something quick, "r u coming 2nite?" the cyclops couldn't bother with grammar, it got the point across after all. After sending the message, Feeonix felt the buzz of a notification back on his phone from the cyan hero, "ofc"

Feeonix gave a small, relieved smile. At least the hero could tolerates him enough to come to his parties, or at least that's what Feeonix could deduct... More like hope at least. As Feeonix got up, he threw away the now empty bag of chips, pocketed his phone, and went back to his room. Grabbing his laptop and packing it in with the bag of his other equipment with it as with the time ticking down, Feeonix was expecting another text from one of his mates.

Soon having his equipment all packed up, he had heard a honk from outside, as well as his phone giving a text message from the shape named as "Locke" on his phone that his ride was here. Slinging his bag over his shoulder he left his apartment and went downstairs, being careful to not trip over his platform shoes. Entering the passenger seat of the car, the green and yellow colored shape gave him a smile, making sure Feeonix had gotten his seatbelt on before heading to the function.

Even through the small talk, Feeonix couldn't help but think to himself. He really couldn't wait to pregame, even if it was just a little to get him buzzed. If anything he wasn't a big fan of being alone in his thoughts as he set up his equipment. He wasn't impatient, but being in the moment just helped him to forget about it all for a moment.

As they pulled up to the currently being set up concert, the location was certainly bigger than the one before. Meaning a lot more shapes would be here... Tree-GOD they even had fencing set up here. Whipping his head over to Locke with surprise adamant on the dj's face, the shape in the driver's seat couldn't help but give a nervous chuckle. "The merch sales really went wild last month... so me and the others decided to upgrade the joint to something better-" Locke admitted as Feeonix gave a big grin in response, unable to give his gratitude in words.

Tonight was gonna be awesome. That's what Feeonix thought at least as the dj currently set his equipment up on stage and readied his mix on his now set-up laptop. As Feeonix finished, another of his mates had pulled him behind stage with a few metal chairs and a cooler full of cans and ice. As people began to pile in, Locke hyping up the crowd from what he could hear in the back, Feeonix grabbed one of the cans from the cooler and chugged it, the bitter liquid going down his throat.

Wasn't the best taste, he certainly would buy something better but a free drink is a free drink. As the concert began, he had left the backstage and headed over to his booth. There was already so many people here. Goodness. Even from the front of the crowd he could see the vip section, and even those heroes were here. Feeonix couldn't help but feel a little bit of intimidation with how many people had arrived.

Regardless he had a party to continue with. As the music began and the night went on, Feeonix having been hyping up the crowd with not only his music but with his voice, Feeonix felt like he could forget about his issues for a bit and live in the moment. Regardless of Feeonix's idea of what people knew about him, he could certainly see that shapes loved his music and even from the crowd, he could see that the heroes were equally interested as well.

It brought a twinge of happiness to Feeonix's heart, even if it was a fleeting night. As the concert later had been brought to a close, Feeonix had returned to the backstage. Grabbing another can and downing it. With the adrenaline lowering, his voice sore and his eyes getting used to normal lighting, Feeonix really couldn't wait to get home. With a buzz from his pocket he swiped his phone from his pocket as he saw there was a text message. It was from Cycy.

"Hey would you be interested on taking a walk with me and my dad sometime?" He had read, raising a brow but responding with a simple "y not. Can do that prolly after tomorrow." taking a sip from his third can as Locke had entered the backstage and got Feeonix to the car.

He wondered why Cycy had asked. Oh well, he had some sleeping he was looking forward to.
