The Villainess' Death Game[COMPLETED]

Chapter 2

My mouth parted when I saw the royal castle, it brought light to the night. Somehow I started to feel agitated. Can I not come? I just want to curl down into that large bed earlier and be comforted by the smooth fur blanket. 

Napasulyap ako kay Peona. She's still wearing her maid's uniform. I guess she's the only escort I got for tonight. The Duke, Myrtle's father did not even bother to send a knight to accompany his daughter. 

"You'll become the most beautiful woman tonight, my lady." Nakayuko niyang sabi.

"Peona."tawag ko sa kanya.

"Y-yes, my lady..."

"Look at me," I commanded. How can she say those words without even looking up at my face? We traveled for almost an hour now yet she either looks outside or into her feet.

"My lady, I..." her hands began to shake.

"Hmm. Forget about it." Binaling ko nalang ulit ang mga mata sa labas. We have now reached the entrance of the castle. When I stepped out of the carriage I couldn't help but be amazed by how beautiful the entire castle is. 

But the stairs. Goodness, I almost died from shortness of breath and suffocation as I reached the top of the stairs. These goddamn corsets and steep stairs are the perfect combination for my instant death.

Tumingin ako sa baba, Peona just bowed at me as she was standing in front of the carriage. 

Biglang bumukas ang malaking pintuan sa harapan ko. I showed the doorman my invitation card and he jolted upon seeing my name, pero hindi na siya nag aksaya ng isang segundo at agad na isinagaw ang pangalan ko.

"LADY MYRTLE EDELWYSE HAS ARRIVED!"

As I stepped inside, all eyes were pinned on me like I was the main character of this ball. But no. Those indifferent eyes made me realize that these people saw me no more than a villain who had made her entrance to ruin the heroine.

Urgh.Gusto ko nalang gumulong pababa sa hagdan at dumirekta ng sakay sa karwahe pauwi. 

I wanna go home...I thought that I'd be fine if I thought of these people as NPCs (non-player characters) of the game that I used to play. I was wrong. Right now they are all real, breathing people like me.

I heaved a deep sigh.

The main scenario is about to start and I need to prepare myself for that. Tumingin ako sa paligid, finding a certain person in the crowed.

Bingo! 

As the main characters, they will definitely shine together, making it like nobody could penetrate their world, people around them would become a faceless nobody.

Cerise Daybloom. The female lead of this game, the adopted daughter of the royal family, is loved by everyone. The character that I used to play. The heroine. Right beside her is the crown prince, his Highness Aloysius Wilkerson. My fiance.

Napatingin ako sa paligid. Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin. I no longer portray the heroine, Cerise, but rather the villainess Myrtle Edelwyse. Being the female lead, I had different choices and paths to finish a scenario. But I had no idea on how to act according to the scenario by being Myrtle Edelwyse. 

Tumalikod na ako, I don't wanna be controlled by the system of this game. I remembered what happened in this scene and this is the first time that Myrtle Edelwyse was introduced into the game as a villainess.

However, it was too late.

W-why can't I step any further? Nanigas ang buo kong katawan, kahit anong pilit kong humakbang ay hindi ako makagalaw. Crap!
