The Villainess' Death Game[COMPLETED]

Chapter 5

The carriage was taken over by bandits. I can't attempt to escape or my head will roll as there are three muscular men inside this carriage guarding me. Looking at their weapon I don't think I would be able to see the moon tonight if I tried to do something silly.

"Where are we going? Saan niyo ako dadalhin?" This is not road to the Dukedom.

"Shut up woman before I cut your tongue." the man beside me hissed as his knife reflected some light into my eyes.

So I shut up, trying to look as calm and daring as possible. I don't think they're after the money or gold because they don't recognize me at all. So I just go with the flow, while thinking for an escape. 

I can't even open my attribute window. How am I supposed to know what Myrtle could do besides becoming crazy over the Crown Prince and destroying the heroine's confidence?

This is frustrating. But maybe a change of course like this isn't a bad thing. 

NO. I take back what I said when I opened my eyes and suddenly found myself on the cliff. Napalingon ako sa paligid. There are people, not just the men who abducted me but they look like villagers.

Did they used some incense and made me sleep in the carriage? Nakatali ang mga kamay ko at ganoon nalang ang kilabot na naramdaman ko nang mapatingin ako sa baba ng bangin. Shocks! I won't survive if they push me right now.

"With this sacrifice, we will be free for a month. This is not enough!"

"We need to gather more women!"

"Push her before the god of the cliff ascends and takes more lives of our people!"

My eyes widen upon the realization that I became a human sacrifice for their god. Is this part of a scenario as well? But I got no notification.

"Wait! Let's talk over this alright?!" Napatingin silang lahat sa akin. I wanted to move my legs but just won't budge. Damn. What did they do to my body?

"My family has lots of money! Do you want gold? My father can give you as many as you want so please spare my life!"  I plead. I spout that nonsense even though I'm not sure if the Duke would care if I have gone missing right now. But I just came back alive, I can't afford death here.

"Money can't buy us our lives, young lady." Someone from from my back who's guarding me, suddenly pushes me off the cliff. My eyes widen as my body slowly feels the free fall.

Haaahh...

The sky is turning golden red, the sun is slowly setting before my eyes. So is my life...

The system can't even save me now unless it gives me wings and the ability to levitate.

WHAT?! Not flying? How am I gonna summon myself if I died? Just then that I nearing my death the system bugged. Pumikit nalang ako at tinanggap ang pagsalo ng hangin sa katawan ko habang mabilis akong bumubulusok paibaba.

"Hey! Hold onto me!" 

I opened my eyes and saw I man reaching out his hand for me. Hope is not dead! Mabilis kong inabot ang kamay niya, medyo mahirap pero sa huli ay naabot ko din ang dulo ng daliri niya and before we reach the ground he pulled and cover his arms around my body. Napapikit ako ng madiin at sinubsob sa dibdib niya ang muka ko.

We had a hard impact on the ground, my body hurt like hell but I think I'm alright. I'm alive but I can't breathe.

I cough, hard as I catch some air.  I slowly rolled away to position my airway properly.
