Ciel knows that he can do nothing against Charlotte. He can take down Charlotte with his raw strength however that will put the people in this town in danger as no one will protect them against these hundreds of undead.

Ciel this jerk. You're lucky to have me.

No undead could block Caudata's attack on Charlotte as Ciel and the rest finish them before Charlotte calls them. Now I'm eyeing the huge plant that continues growing while a thick and huge vine is sipping into Charlotte's body until she runs dry of blood.

"What do you call this plant, Caudata?" 

"I don't think of its name, but by looking at this I might name this a plant of life."

Charlotte now reduces into skin and bones, like a sun-dried squid.

"Plant of life. How Ironic." I muttered. Tiningnan ko nang biglang bumakadkad ang kaninang talutot ng malaking halaman. Hindi ko mapigilang mamangha sa ganda nito. Its scary to think that I became lucky by obtaining Caudata.

"Are you sure you're not gonna regret your decision later?" 

Nagangat ako ng tingin sa kanya. We are now on the balcony of one of their villa somewhere in the eastern part of Etreylia. It's better to stay away from Wefrana for my peace of mind. 

"Charlotte used to be Caudata's disciple. Rather than wasting her ability I might put her in good use for later." saad ko habang tinitingnan mula dito sa balcony si Caudata na malayang hinaharot ni Charlotte sa ibaba. 

"They look exactly the same from when they were still alive." he commented.  I just nodded. Unlike Charlotte's sloppy necromancy for some reason, mine looks perfect. Their physical body merges with the soul and becomes my shadows.

"Their soul is bound with my ability. They have a sense of freedom however their loyalty towards mine is superior, so worry not for they will never betray me." I smiled at him.

"This might stir something in the eradicator's side. Two of their member lost their lives while hunting me. I want to keep you safe but I guess its too late, from the moment I held your hand in the ravine that day, you are bound to get involved with me." sabi niya, bigla kong naalala ang unang beses na nagtagpo ang landas namin dalawa, ang araw na muntik na akong mawalan ng buhay mula sa pakakahulog sa bangin na iyon.

"That woman who disguises as a servant to assassinate you may follow orders from the eradicator. By this time they might recognize your ability and hunt you as well."

"Why would they? Am I an abnormality that occurs in this world?" kunot noo kong tanong.

"No. But to them, you are now the most precious person I have, they are after me and you help me take down some of their men."

Urgh. This sucks. I may have escaped the death from the Crown Prince and Duke Burgess but here I got involved with this organization. I sighed. Things progressed far from the game that I knew. 

"Does His Grace your father and the Duchess know all the trouble their son is making?"

"No. They know nothing at all," he replied. As expected.

I want to ask him further but my mouth remains shut. I might have the gist of his situation but at the same time, I don't. Who knows if he's hunting the immortal witch for a peaceful life but once he lifts the curse then those eradicators would no longer hunt him down, and his family would not be endangered.
