I was planing to wake up early the next morning but when I woke up it was already past 9 o'clock.

Mi surprise seh mi madda and Jerome no wake yet,every morning e two a dem wake from 6 o'clock is like dem no love dem bed.

I took a shower and got dressed in a light blue jeans shorts with rips at the front and a mesh crop top.

I was on a video call with Kayla when my mom woke up and came into the kitchen.

“How yuh wake so early....a wah tek yuh,”she said.

“A mi fi ask yuh dat...a fuss mi see yuh sleep so late mommy,”i said. 

“Afta mi naave no weh a go....mi see Tiffany bwoy yesterday e grow up nice tho...look like somebody weh we respect and value oman,”she said referring to Antwaine.

“Yeah we did a talk yesterday,”

“Him very nice...but ano no time fi yah look no boyfriend yah fi stay focus pon yuh education first,”she said mixing a cup of tea.

“Jesus Christ mommy...mi know already,”i said.

Mi hate when she talk bout dem sumn deh e juss mek mi feel uncomfortable.

“Stop call out e lord name in vain. ..a true sumn mi a talk cause all unuh later days pickney want a boyfriend and girlfriend, ”

Mi truly and honestly cyah tek no more a this yah conversation yah,so I told her I was going to take a walk down to the beach and probably take some photos.

I grabbed my phone from my room and then left the house almost immediately bumping into Antwaine.

“Sorry...mi almost mek yuh drop,”he said holding my shoulders firmly.

I smiled as I shook out the sand out of my sandals.

“So weh yah go now?”he asked.

“Mi no sure mi wah tek some picho yuh have no ideas which part mi can go?”i asked.

“Yeah...follow mi,”he said.

I followed him across the beach and over a pile of rocks then to a place were palm trees aligned the place.

“Yuh wah mi tek e picho fi yuh?”he asks and I nodded as I handed him my phone.

I took a good amount of pics and I took one with him for memories of course.

We then sat on the rocks and watched the waves,having a little conversation.

“So...wah gwaan fi yuh now....yuh still single and searching like inna primary school,”he laughs.

“Why yah fi remind mi bout dat,”i said laughing.

“You and Matthew use to gwaan wid some things fi real...but e did want to much gurl one time,”he said.

“Bout him did a gyalis...mtchew,”i said bursting out into another fit.

“So yuh still single?”he asks after I have calmed down.

“Well...not really mi kinda have wah boyfren”i said remembering what happened last night.

“Weh yuh mean by kinda,”he said getting up off the rock.

“Well e guy weh mi deh wid kinda stay like Matthew e kinda seem fi a change but mi no too sure right now....is kinda wah off and on thing,”I said.

“Oh....well if mi did a him mi would a change mi ways fi be wid a girl like you,”he said staring into my eyes and to be very honest mi did a feel kinda awkward round him.
