Chapter 3 - Preparing for Thrawn

Narrator:- Han Solo

After getting out from tatooine we reached Hosnian Prime... The Galactic capital of The New Republic. It is a little similar to Coruscant in terms of the skyline, but it is a much better place to live. I know that during the old republic days it was Coruscant but to gain the support of disaffected worlds and prevent the friction that occurred under the Old Republic and the Empire, the New Republic chose not to base its government on Coruscant.

Me, Rex, Luke and Leia were moving our way towards the Chancellor's office after leaving Ben with R2-D2 and C3PO... Just as we were about to enter the office we saw Chewbacca and Lando coming also

"Even you all got the news?" Lando asked me

"Yes which is why we are here and hope Chewie was helpful for whatever help you needed in Cloud City" Chewie was with Lando in Bespin

"Just needed to deal with some Imperial presence which our own wookie took care of" He patted Chewie's back

"You two can catch up later but for now can we focus on Thrawn..." As Leia scolded us we entered the office. We saw Mon Mothma, Ahsoka, Sabine, Hera, Ezra and a C1 droid called Chopper... I knew no one here except Mon, All of us reacted normally but Leia was more happier as she said she had met Ezra before especially Rex.

Ahsoka saw Rex and her face lit up... I was confused for a second but then I remembered that they fought in the clone wars together. Rex took off his helmet and walked towards her, Ahsoka hugged him

"You are standing here as strong as you were back in the day" She chuckled

"I am a 501st trooper after all... Commander" His focus then shifted to Ezra, Hera and Sabine... The three of them hugged each other and honestly seeing that reunion was wholesome.

"You have to be the strongest old man I have ever seen" The C1 droid beeped

"You had to remind me of my age Chopper" Rex chuckled

"It's great seeing all of you together" Luke said as their attention shifted to him... 

Ezra and Sabine looked confused as they did not know who he was "You seem strong with the force... Perhaps even stronger than Ahsoka here" Ezra says

"He is Jedi Master Luke Skywalker" Ahsoka looked at Ezra

"Skywalker? Are you the son of Anakin Skywalker?" He asked

"I am... how do you know my father?" Luke asked

"I have just seen a hologram of him... I guess the force runs in the family" Ezra smirked

Leia walked to Mon Mothma and started talking straight to the point "What do we know about Thrawn's plan of attack?"

"Ahsoka says it has something to do with Dathomir" She looks at Ahsoka "Brief them"

She first explained us of how Ezra and Thrawn got to another Galaxy and how Thrawn with the help of the Nightsisters was able to travel here back, she said that Ezra got on Thrawns ship and was able to get here while she and Sabine got their ship to the hyperspace ring which almost tore their ship apart while getting here

"It's lucky that you survived... What other information you have on his fleet?" Leia asked

"He has an army of troopers called Night Troopers led by Captain Enoch" Ezra answered "And if any of them are taken down they would get resurrected by The Great Mothers"

"They sound like witches" I said... Hearing the existence of witches baffled me back then, A thing called the force existing wasn't enough that there are space witches

"Cause they are..." Ezra replied "And also while I was on their ship I saw almost thousands of coffins... I do not fear the army as much as what is in them. Maybe they can be more Night Troopers or-"

"Or worse more Nightsisters..." Luke interrupts "If they are Nightsister corpses in them and they get resurrected... We will be doomed. We have to get to Thrawn some way or another before he opens those coffins" Hearing the fact that there were possibly more witches made me wish that there were more Jedi than just Luke, Ahsoka and Ezra

"Why don't we march an army to Dathomir?" Lando suggests

"We cannot that is suicide, Thrawn will see us coming and we will fall right into his trap" Luke sighs

"Luke are there more?" Leia asked something which even I wanted to ask since I heard of Thrawn's return

"More of what?" He asked

"You know... More Jedi? There has to be... It's better if we find more of them" She said in hope he would say he knew other Jedi's

"I do not know... but there is one way we may find out" He looked at Ahsoka "You know what to do" Ahsoka looked confused but she then had a expression of realization "Go to Tython and do what must be done... if there is any chance of more Jedi then we must take every advantage of it"

All of a sudden Ezra's Comlink started making sounds... he was wearing a trooper outfit as a disguise perhaps and the comlink was with him

 "I hope that thing was not turned on the entire time" Leia asked

"No it was not" He took out the comlink as everyone were standing in silence

"This is Captain Enoch... we have successfully arrived in this galaxy. And now that we are here we shall show the New Republic our presence, I need a group of troops on the planet called Daiyu. I will now personally call out some troopers and when I do come to The Admiral as he will give you special instructions of what to do in Daiyu"

All of us heard that and we  knew what had to be done... Mon Mothma stepped forward "Ahsoka, Ezra, Hera and Sabine you will go to where Luke has told to. Luke... you, Han, Chewbacca along with Rex and his men go to Daiyu and bring at least one Night Trooper here alive" She commanded us and looked at Luke "Luke you have been a great help to us since you fought in the Battle of Yavin... And I hope you will lead us to victory and help us defeat Thrawn"

"Well Thrawn was telling that he knew Anakin... I guess he was caught off guard when he heard that I am his apprentice" Hearing this from Ahsoka bought a smile on Luke's face

"Then he will be surprised that his son is here ready to face him... during the clone wars my father never failed the Republic. It's time that I follow his footsteps" When we heard that we felt like as long as he is with us no space witch can take the New Republic Down
