He asked

A sharp pain struck to my head like a needle...
I touched my hair.

I looked at my hand

Ellie covered her face and stepped back  traumatized off what had happened earlier.

Mom... where are you...

Rocking back and forth... shaking, due to her frustration.

Suddenly...

I felt a warm feeling...
Hugging me.

Ellie... It's okay.. Everything is going to be okay.

He carefully touched my hand, wiping off the thing off my hand.

Ellie. This red thing is called blood.
Blood is from our bodies and it's okay to have scars because... It will heal.

He knelt down to my level, fixing my hair.

Just tell me when it hurts all right?

He started to put something on my head.

Ah! That hurt a bit...

He then moved to the side even though it was a bit rocky, still he was able to cover my wound.

I realized I still covered my eyes with my hands.

I slowly took them off...

My dad is a doctor and so is my mom so yes that's how I learnt about it.

Then suddenly the carriage stopped moving.

Only muffled noises were heard outside.

Then a woman opened the curtain

Hey! Is she good now?

I went behind Shelly's back

Ellie it's okay they helped us when we tried to escape.

Still... But they helped us so... I can trust her.

Yes... I'm fine.

Okay! That's good yeah? Hey Shel! We need you real quick.

Oh alright be right there.

Shelly then turned at me

Ellie just stay here okay? I'll be right back.
He patted me on the shoulder.

As Shelly was about to leave

He left chuckling on the way.

It's only me and the crooked floorboards of the carriage.
