Found you! He shouted at me while I was already crying.

No! Get off me!

I spotted the jar, and I grabbed the broken glass.
Ellie stabbed the shard on the eye of the man. He shouted in agony, letting Ellie go. She ran quickly to the main door.

Ellie looked at her hands...
Blood.. it's blood.

Ellie kept looking at her hands, she only saw that her hands were red. She was holding the shard not him.

From a far distance he shouted.
ELLIE!!

Ellie turned back to see him with his bloody eyes. He looked like the zombies Ellie thought.

I have to go to Shelly!

Ellie ran as fast as she could to avoid the man following her.

Ellie went to the carriage but Shelly isn't there, she then spotted him leaving.

Shelly!
I ran to him

Ellie! Where have you been? I've been looking for you?!
He held my shoulder

Please I will explain later but we have to get out of here! I held his hand.

Where are you going?! He stopped.

Please.. trust me this once, someone is after us we have to escape!

Let's go then!

Ellie and Shelly then ran together. But a group of cars followed them. They end up getting lost in the forest.

Shelly signalled me to stay quiet as we hid on a giant rock.

Where are they? Look at that side.

Their flashlights were near to us.

Then I saw something crawling.. a beatle?! I hate beatles! The beatle went to the leg of Ellie.

Shelly covered the mouth of Ellie to avoid being heard.

Let's just leave this is wasting our time.
Then the sounds of the engine left the place.

Shelly looked back to see if anyone was there.

Okay Ellie they are gone now..

Ellie stayed quiet for a while..

Oh they are gone now? Good..

Shelly looked at Ellie kneeling on her level.

Hey what happened earlier? Are you okay?

After Shelly asked Ellie began crying looking at her hands. Shelly then checked her hands.

What happen to your hand? Shelly tore his shirt to cover the wound.

I... hurt someone..in the eye! I'm a bad person!

Ellie continued to weep then Shelly hugged Ellie.

Ellie it's okay? You were just protecting yourself! He was a bad guy right?

Ellie looked down

You said that blood was natural... But what if I was the one who did it, is that natural? I harmed him!

I don't want my mom to see what I have done..

Ellie don't say that... Your goal was to look for your mom right? I will be right beside you and continue till you reach it.

Ellie bumped at Shelly crying continuously.

Just let it all out... Shelly patted Ellie's head.

Thank you.. I really... like you.

Shelly's eyes widen as to what he had heard.

That was unexpected. Shelly thought.

I like you too... Shelly then looked at Ellie but she fell asleep on his shoulders.

Later that lovely night they slept through the cold wind but their love kept them warm.
