A sigh escaped my lips as I sat down on a chair. The work was really hectic today, and I didn't get time to rest. I massaged my forehead while looking through the new cases. A knock on the door interrupted me. "Come in," I muttered, looking up at the door. I wonder who it is. No one comes to the assistant's room except for surgeons and assistants. We don't need to knock on the door. My expression turned angry when I saw Minhee making her way into the room with a smile.

"Good evening, doc," she said as she sat on a chair in front of me. "What is it?" I asked, and she pouted. "Rude, but anyways, I have big news for you," she chimed, grinning at me. What's with her today? "Why are you acting like we are besties?" I spat, and she chuckled. "We can be if you leave Yoongi alone," she said, making me chuckle. "In your dreams... Go on," I said, leaning back against the chair.

"Well, even though Yoongi was the one who was supposed to tell you this, I guess he is hiding it from you," she said, making me furrow my eyebrows together. "Stop talking in riddles," I said, and she smiled.

"I just found out you will never be able to give the Min Empire its heir," she smirked, and I sat up straight. "What do you mean?" I couldn't believe what I just heard. "Oh, doctor. How dumb of you. It means you will never be able to conceive," she frowned, making my heart drop. "How...?" I blinked my eyes. "You should ask that to your hubby and make sure not to blame him because he is the one who is suffering. The Min Empire will never get an heir if you continue to be with him," she spat, making me clench my hands.

"I should get going now," she smiled, walking out of the room. I could hear my own heartbeat. I touched my belly, trying to control my tears. I bit my lower lip, closing my eyes, letting the tears fall. He kept all this to himself. He suffered all alone. I felt like a fool. Everyone knew except me.

I got up from my chair, grabbed my phone, and headed to the changing room to switch into my casual clothes. Exiting the hospital, I knew I needed to see him. Hailing a taxi, I gave the driver the address of his company. How could he keep it to himself? How could he silently suffer while I kept smiling?

Unable to control my sobs any longer, I realized I would never be able to give him a child. I knew how much he loved children and how badly he wanted one of his own. "Ma'am, we're here," the driver said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I wiped my tears away and paid him before stepping out. I composed myself and walked into the company.

"Could you tell me where Mr. Min's office is?" I asked the receptionist. "Ma'am, do you have an appointment?" she inquired, making me sigh. "I'm his wife," I replied. "He's in a meeting right now," she informed me, causing me to close my eyes. I wasn't ready for this problem right now. I was already on the edge of losing myself. "Listen to me. You tell me where his office is right now. I don't care if he's in a meeting or not. It's important," I urged, and she sighed, nodding reluctantly.

She hesitantly directed me to his office, and I nodded, stepping into the elevator. As I looked at my reflection in the elevator wall, anger boiled inside me.I wanted to torture myself to death. The elevator dinged, and the doors opened. I stormed into Yoongi's office without knocking. He initially looked annoyed, but his expression softened when he saw me. "The meeting is over," I stated, meeting Yoongi's gaze.

"You heard the lady," Yoongi addressed the men, who gathered their belongings and left. "Sweetheart, what are you doing here? Is everything alright?" he asked in a hushed tone, walking towards me. He gently caressed my cheek, noticing my teary eyes.

"What's wrong, love? Why are you crying?" he asked, brushing away my tears with his thumb. I wrapped my arms around his neck, still sobbing. "Yazia, you're making me worried. Is everything alright?" he inquired, concern evident in his voice. All I could do was cry. "Come here," he guided me to a sofa and sat beside me, wiping away my tears.
