I imagine Aizawa as Hozier. Don't fucking ask, don't question it, just go with it. The song Too Sweet he just released encapsulates PERFECTLY how I'm going to write his and Y/N's relationship.

"So, why'd you become a teacher?" You asked after about thirty minutes of Aizawa just scrolling through his tv. He was trying to remember why he decided to be nice and invite you over again when you spoke up. You couldn't stand the silence, but that worked in your favor because you were always curious about the other person in your company.
"Does it matter?" He asked with a dark tone. The man had slouched down into the couch, holding his head up with a hand. "It's a job, and I get paid."
You shrugged, copying his position as you propped your elbow in the armrest and leaned your cheek into your palm. "You don't like it, then?"
There was another moment of silence as you put the man in thought. He didn't really want to answer, but couldn't find the strength to leave you hanging. "It's fine. The kids are great, but it's nerve wracking." Not for any of the reasons most would think. Aizawa didn't mind the bickering, or noise too much as long as they listened. That was the hardest part. If they didn't listen, or even worse, if they did, and the same terrible fate that happened to Shirakumo, the man wouldn't be able to live with himself. "Do you think we're raising them to die for nothing? The same fight keeps going, and we keep-" Aizawa shook his head, trying to will the thoughts away. UA was one of the better options for kids with quirks like this. If they slipped up, they'd only be put somewhere more secure.
The government was cracking down on not only vigilantes, and villains, but anyone they thought might fit the bill. Aizawa had noticed the attention on a couple of his students, and had to keep them in check. He knew what would happen if they didn't. Maybe that's why he was so worried when he saw you with Hawks.
"I don't know, don't have a quirk," you said in a bitter tone. "I'm just caught in the crossfire."
Aizawa was intrigued by this information, assuming you had a pretty powerful quirk for how confident you appeared in the face of danger. Instead, it could only be reckless stupidity. It surprised him even more then that Hawks would always be around. The man had to be investigating long before your mother was kidnapped, but Aizawa kept his mouth shut. Whatever was going on with that was none of his business. There wasn't another response from the teacher, he just finished his third drink and moved to the fourth.
Your eyes kept staring over at him, intrigued by the small bits of information he just let slip. You had to catch yourself, and stop the thoughts before they lingered in interested territory. They wouldn't stop slipping in though. The man was attractive, and moody; exactly your type. And with a tragic past? Say no more. Your eyes were already sparkling with that drunk intrigue.
But a small memory of Hawks bright smile this morning kept you from pestering him further for information about his personal life. Instead, you continued to talk about his students. That would keep you out of flirting territory. "So, this student who got kidnapped," you started off as casually as possible while discussing an abduction. "Her mom's famous? Are a lot of students just prodigies?" At the mention of this mother, Aizawa's expression visibly changed. Not fear, or anger, but more so pure disgust.
"I wouldn't call her 'famous'" he spat the word. "She wishes." A small mutter of an insult made you giggle. Aizawa was pleased with the cute response, and took a small sip of his drink before continuing. "But there are a lot of students who feel like they have to surpass or live up to their parent's image." Todoroki, and Momo were just two examples of students with very rich and powerful parents. Endeavor had already meddled in the life of too many children, resulting in some very tragic outcomes. Aizawa didn't want to trudge down memory lane though. At least, not tonight. "Emi, the student who was abducted, has one of the most powerful quirks if used to its full capacity."
