"Aapki Nazaro ne samjha"

Anushka POV
Afternoon, 2 PM
Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I smiled while admiring the orange coloured saree that I wore with my hairs kept clutched in a clutcher,

Sticking the red small "bindi" between my eyebrows, I giggled while making my steps outside, towards aangan and keeping the veil over my head,

My actions halted when I felt a sudden tight hug from my front and gasping by the contact, I muttered "Nanduuuu??"

I called with a slightly shock only to have a small laugh as a response and nandini pulled away softly while looking at me with loving eyes, "Bhabhi aapne toh sach me jaadu kar diya"

She said with a joyful voice making me smile in proud "Sukhriya nandu" I mumbled back while smiling proudly and she giggled in response while hugging me again,

Chuckling at her behaviour, I embraced her back while asking "Vaise kya kiya esa hamne?" I asked while patting her head and halted when nandini pulled away to look at me with knitted eyebrows

"Aapko pata nahi hai toh sukhriya kyu keh rahin thi aap?" She asked with confusion  and chuckling sassily to her question, I brushed my fingers through my hairs and replied "Tareef ke yogy hai hum aur tareef lete waqt Karan ka intezar nahi karte"

I replied while smiling and saw nandini chuckling while listening to me and she nodded her head, before embracing me in a side hug from my side and mumbled softly "Aapne hame kaha tha ki aap bhaiya ko sabak sikhayengi hame daat-ne ka aur kal bhaiya ne hame itne pyaar se gale lagaya hai, aapko malum hai"

She replied making me knit my eyebrows and they soothened when she continues "Aapne esa kya kiya jo bhaiya aapki baat maan gaye bhabhi?"
She asked this time while smiling and I blushed

Thinking of lying, I hummed proudly before looking at nandini and replying "Apni moothi me rakhte hai hum aapke bhaiya ko, Abh se kabhi daat nahi lagayenge vo tumhe, agar lagaye toh hame batana, hum daat laga denge unhe"

I replied while fisting my hand showing the power I held and nandini chuckled, Nodding her head she finally pulled out from the hug and was going to go the other way when I stopped her

"Vaise nandu??"

I called her and saw her turning around and she muttered softly "Ji Anu bhabhi?"
She replied and the my nickname from her mouth felt sweet,
Smiling to her, while continuing the question, I added "Vaise bhaiya kaha hai aapke?"

I asked her and saw her thinking and replying soon after "Bhaiya toh khet me gaye hai"

She told me and my eyebrows raised at the information and I asked again "Khanna kha liya unhone?"

I saw Nandini shaking her head in denial before she added "Nahi, hum abhi ja hi rahe the khet, bhaiya ko Khanna dene"

She replied while smiling and turned to go away but quickly stopping her by holding her hand, I took steps towards her and pleaded "Aaj hum Khanna de kar aayein unhe?"

I saw her knitting her eyebrows in confusion but soon they soothened and she nodded her head softly before going towards the chullah under the shed and picking up the tiffin, she came back towards me and handed it to me

"Dhanywaad Anu" she thanked while giggling at my nick name, smiling to her back, I quickly took the tiffin from her hands before quickening up my pace outside the main gate and bidding her a bye
