Morning, 10 AM

Setting the pallu over nandini's head, I smiled before sighing peacefully at the sight of her and cupping her cheeks, I squealed happily

"Haye itni khoobsurat lag rahi ho nandu, humse byah karlo"

I said making nandini shy and smiling to her blushing face, I pulled out few strands of her wavy brown hairs infront of her face and setting them beside her forehead, I commented

"Tum per yeh saree kafi pyaari lag rahi hai nandini, tum ye saree rakh lo aur agar kisi bhi prakar ki maddat chahiye ki kaise baat karte hai ya kaise aadahien bikherte hai ki tumhe koi inkaar hi nah kar paye toh hum se puch lo, humne tumhare bhaiya ko bhi aise hi adaho me fasaya tha"

I said while hugging her from beside and feeling her chuckling at my words, I smiled looking at her blushing shy face and turning towards the mirror, We both looked at her

She wore one of my blue saree as she always wanted to wear one when someone will come to see her for marriage, Her hairs were braided in a long beautiful braid while few strands were left beside her forehead, Her eyes were filled with surma that looked at the floor shyly with soft pink tint on her lips that were lined in a smile the all time and she looked beautiful

Obviously more beautiful when I have got her ready,

We were interrupted when I heard someone knocking on the door, Turning around while putting my viel over my head, I opened the door only to meet the sight of my husband - Virat ji,

Passing me a smile, I sarcastically smiled back at him as we had a small argument today morning and moving aside, I let him enter

His eyes trailed from me to nandini and I saw his eyes softening while looking at her,
Upturning my lips in a small smile when he stood infront of her and patted her head, A soft feeling embraced my heart looking at their bond

Not wanting to interrupt the bond, I watched them smiling to each other before Virat ji interrupted "Baat-cheet kya karni hoti hai malum hai?"

He asked with a teasing smile and looking at nandini who just nervously whinned at him and being a superwoman for my best friend, I interrupted back

"Keh toh ese rahe hai aap jaise ki aap toh humare liye kagaz me prash likh kar laye the?" Passing the sarcasm back, I saw him glancing at me and ignoring the fact, I just went towards nandini and pulling her with me, I mumbled while going away

"Khud ko toh kuch aata nahi hai, meri nandu ko pareshan karte rehte hai, nalayak kahi ke"

Chuckling at them, nandini just stared at the ground while she heard few faded voices of men laughing from the aangan,
Knowing the people who came to ask for her hand has arrived made her nervous but a tint of shyful happiness was still there in her heart to know that her childhood dreaming was going to come true today

Wanting to get married to someone she loves and someone who will look at her with love in his eyes was a dream castle for her and looking at grown love of her parents and the ingrowing love of anushka-virat for each other, she wanted her dream empire to come true today

Rubbing her hands together, nandini's heart beats raced when she heard saraswati's anklets ringing in her ears and soon reaching at their door steps, her await was complete when saraswati called out the words

"Nandini beta, tumhe bula rahe hain"

Breathing in heavily to muster up the courage to go infront of them, Nandini tilted her head to look at anushka whose attention was diverted from Virat to her now and a huge smile was formed on her lips,
