Night, 8 PM
It was night time and everyone was having their dinner when Virat called out anushka for something "Anushka, ek chapati"

His voice came out soft making anushka turn towards him who sat on the floor while signalling towards his plate,

Nodding her head while making her steps towards him, anushka kept two chapati's on his plate and her attention was diverted when he spoke in between "bas ek"

Glancing at him for once, anushka nodded her head before taking one chapati from his plate and making her steps towards nandini again who was cooking the chapati making Virat's eyebrows knit in confusion

Thinking about how she is being silent today from the time he came back home from fields made him slightly concerned and thinking of talking to her after having dinner, he eyed her before again continuing with his food

Virat POV
Night, 10 PM
Making my steps inside our room, I sighed before closing the door behind me but my eyebrows quickly knitted when I couldn't find anushka in the room

Being confused, my concern for her increased and again turning to open the door, I made my steps in the aangan to find her

Not finding her there either, I sighed before looking at the stairs and thinking she might've went to terrace, I hustled to reach the terrace

Reaching the terrace, I firstly slipped out of my slippers before taking a step on the cemented floor that was feeling rough and cold due to the weather

Turning my head towards the right, I was going to call out her name when my sight caught her figure

She was sitting on the bed made out of thatch of dry grasses kept on the floor while her back faced me,

Making my steps towards her slowly, I cleared my throat to get her attention and watching her not even moving, I nodded my head slightly before encircling the thatch to sit beside her

Feeling the dry grasses sinking in, I balanced my weight over it and keeping my chin on my palm while resting them with elbow on my knee, I tilted my face to look at her

Her eyes glanced at me for once before she again started to look at the night sky, The twinkling stars in dark blue night sky with the shinest crystal moon embroided on it

The night was beautiful
The nights are beautiful

"Humare radio ka dabba itna shant kaise hai aaj?" I thought to break the silence and muttering with a smile, I glanced at her face briefly while calling her names and expecting a glare, My smile grew wider when she whinned before hitting me on my biceps

Thanking god for a moment of emotions from her, I chuckled before shifting closer to her and asking "bataiye toh? Itni shant kaise hai aap? Kuch hua hai?"

I asked with a small smile to make her feel calm and watching her shaking her head in denial, I knitted my eyebrows at her behaviour before encircling my hand around her back to her other shoulder

"Kuch nhi hua?" I asked again while looking at her face and getting a shook of denial from her while her cheeks were puffed like a kid, I nodded my head while eyeing her

Sitting back on my position while looking at her, I examined her uncomfortable gestures while her hands continuously rubbed her abdomen

Raising my hand to brush my fingers into her hairs, I smiled when I saw her lips upturning into a small smile before she looked at me and nodding my head, I assured her before standing up and making my way downstairs again
