Athena Barlos was easily the most beautiful woman Isaac Remington had ever laid eyes on. She reminded him of an angel with her white blond hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin. Her body was slim, but she still had curves in all the right places.
He enjoyed looking at her while he sat through his classes, and he'd be lying if he said he hadn't fantasized about her, something he felt guilty about, given that she didn't belong to him, but he couldn't help himself. The woman was gorgeous, and the stuff fantasies were made out of.
It had taken him a few weeks before he'd finally spoken to her. She was twenty-one and unmated. She was also in three of his classes, giving him ample opportunity to study her throughout his day.
He had chosen to use his real name in school, given that the school was mostly humans who would have no idea who he was. There were quite a few werewolves though as there was a pack close by, but the majority weren't in any of his classes and had no idea who he was.
"Would you like to go get breakfast with me?" He'd finally asked her one day after an early class. He wanted to know her.
She'd looked him over for a long moment before finally agreeing. "Why not."
Why not indeed. They'd met after class and walked over to a small cafe. He'd held the door open for her and followed her inside. They'd sat and chatted about class mostly before they'd gotten into other things.
"So which pack are you from?" he asked her curiously.
"The Thessalia Pack," she said with a smile.
"So you're right at home then," he commented. That pack was the one close by. He had a feeling most of the werewolves attending the school were from that pack.
"Yes, but I still live on campus. I wanted the full experience," she said.
"Can't blame you."
"And you?"
"I'm from Regal Eclipse," he said. He really hadn't told anyone here, but then he hadn't developed many relationships either. But he'd expected her to ask. It was such a common question, and he had asked first.
"You're in the Royal Pack?" She looked startled, and he watched her look him over more intently.
"Yeah."
"Do you know the King?" She was whispering now which made him chuckle.
"Why?"
"I'm just curious. I've seen him once, when our Alpha took over, but that was a long time ago." she said.
"Who's your pack liaison?" Obviously not his brother or she may have recognized him.
She frowned and he wondered if she even knew. "Ian and Aria."
He lifted a brow at that. Aria was his sister, Ian her mate. "Have you met them?"
"Yeah. My dad is the Beta," she said.
That made sense. She would have more than likely met them then. He wondered if she knew Aria was the Alpha King's daughter.
"Obviously, I know him. He's my Alpha," he said quietly.
She nodded. "I suppose it was a dumb question."
He chuckled. "Are you fan girling?"
She blushed. "No. I haven't even seen him in years. Besides, doesn't he have a bunch of pups?"
Isaac almost laughed out loud at that. Given that he and Ethan were the youngest at twenty-three, he'd hardly refer to himself as a pup. "Five."
She nodded. "So what about you, what are you going to be doing once you're out of school?"
