It's been 10 minutes and I'm here in the cafe, waiting for Avni. I know I'm quite early but I know that she's punctual and will be here at sharp 5. And it doesn't looks good when a boy is late right? So better be early than late.

Just as the observant I am, I was observing my surroundings when my eyes landed on her. Entering the cafe she started looking for me or a vacant seat, I don't know. Her eyes met mine and she was.... shocked?

Avni came towards the seat and without any 'hi' 'hello' she said

"Viraj Mehra? On time? In fact, earlier than me?"

"Shut up, I've learned how to be on time okay"

She simply side eyed me and sat down.

"So viraj-

"Pehle kuch order karlo Avnii"

"Haven't changed a lot huh? Okay"

The waiter came to us and we gave our orders

"Now ma'am, you can continue" I said

"Soo....how have you been? Mummy papa kaise hai?" She started

"Good as always. And talking about mummy papa, thik hai vo bhi. Nagpur mei hi hai abhi vo"

She nodded

"Tum batao, subah you said that you're here with your team?"

"Ah ha, I'm CA Avni Singh now" a big smile plastered on her face when she used the prefix before her name

"Proud of you. You know, I'd also have become a CA by now but because of college....leave it" I regret joining college instead of opting for CA straightly

"Arey it's alright, you have extra knowledge and it's good"

"Yea"

We talked for some time and were ending our little meet up with ice-cream

"You still know my favourite flavour?" She wiggled her eyebrows as I handed her the butterscotch

"Shut up, I had randomly chosen the icecream"

"Okay I'll believe it" she teased

"Avniiii" I said slightly irritated

"Arey thik haiiii nhi kar rhi tang" she laughed

We then silently finished our ice-creams

"Okay so....." I started off

"Goodbye, it's time to leave"

"Nah, it's see you later" she said smiling

I nodded my head and smiled "see you later Avni"

"You too Virju" she said with a straight face

"Pleasee not that name again, I was finally starting to live normally"

"Bye, take care virju" she said innocently

She won't listen? Obviously
