𝟳. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻 {𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆}

Isabella sat in the kitchen. She felt confused. She was more confused than ever. She and derek had slept together. They had more than once and they spent the night together and it felt great but now it was back to normal and Isabella just felt more confused than ever

She knew that she had regrets from sleeping with him. He was engaged and she knew that despite it all that grace was a good person and after all that had happened she knew that she didn't want to be that woman again

She was confused by all that was going on. Isabella looked as Meredith walked into the kitchen and looked to her and frowned

"Hey are you okay" Meredith asked as she looked to Isabella

She knew that there was something going on with Isabella

"Yeah I'm fine"

"We're going to be late come on" Meredith said as Isabella nodded. She knew how work was the last place that she wanted to be. She knew how she'd have to see Derek and she wasn't ready for that

Isabella stood up as they walked out of the Meredith Bella looked to her and frowned. She wasn't stupid. She knew Isabella and knew when she was hiding something

Isabella sat in the locker room as she got to work.

"are you okay" Grace asked as she walked in as Isabella nodded. She felt guilty over what had happened with Derek as Cristina came rushing into the locker room ranting

"He's acting like I kept my apartment to hide stolen goods so I can do illegal transactions for money" Cristina ranted as mila looked to them and rolled her eyes

"Are you sure he's just not acting like you lied about moving in?" Meredith as Cristina makes a face

"What's with you stevens. Watching Alex undress are we" Grace teased as izzie glared

"Shut it"

"Ok, what's wrong with you?" Cristina asked Meredith

"my thoughts exactly" Grace as as Meredith looked to them

"My mommy's a filthy whore" Meredith said as Isabella and Cristina held a look

"we have rounds" Isabella said as she stood up and walked out as they rounded. Isabella walked into the patient room as Meredith started to present the file case

"Chuck Eaton. 54. Has stage 3B non small cell lung cancer with possible invasion of the pleura. And a history of COPD. He's had extensive chemo-radiotherapy with minimal regression of the tumor. He's been admitted for radical and block re-section" Meredith said as Chuck looked to them

"I was a smoker. The ah oncologist, he explained that I have a 25% chance of surviving the surgery" he said

"Well unfortunately that's about right. If you should elect not to proceed we can make you more comfortable" Burke said

"With all do respect ah- there's no way you can make a man dying a slow death comfortable. I'll roll the dice" chuck said as she looked to him and smiled sympathetically

Isabella walked out of the room and smiled as she saw Bailey as she stood with baby tuck

"Are the OR's up and running?" Bailey asked
