Nightmare's POV

Me and Steve raced the netherbrick bridge with our invisible legs sprinting furiously. Out of breath we paused and Steve looked down from the bridge. His mouth dropped and his eyes widened. I knew he'd seen what Herobrine had done to my mobs.

"It's not good, is it. That's what happened to the Nether after you came. You players destroyed it, and Herobrine took the only survivors. And that's what we're trying to stop from happening to your world." I said, then suddenly realising I had put hatred (more than I intended) into that statement. Steve gulped. I knew he was sorry.

"I'm, I'm sorry. I didn't want this." He said as we began to walk again.

When we neared the entrance to the fortress we halted and both took a deep breath. We looked deeply at each other for a moment, as if we were both saying sorry, thank you, and good luck. I nodded and so did he, then with one more deep breath, we sprinted down the hallway.

We kept running until we saw a couple of ZombiePigmen guarding a passage. I could easily kill them in an instance. But I didn't want to. I slowly and cautiously walked over to them and then realised my invisibility potion was wearing off. Steve reached out to grab my arm and stop me, but I shook him off.

"Hello." I said becoming visible and the ZombiePigmen jumped up startled.

"It's, it's ok. I won't hurt you. It's me, Nightmare. Now, May I please pass?" I told them cautiously.

They grunted and tried to allow me to pass, but their eyes became white and they were forced to remain still for a moment. I watched them try to fight it and noticed they were wearing the same collar as me. I had luckily been able to stand the constant shocks from mine, but they had been taken control of.

The struggled to stay in control, but failed and began attacking me and Steve furiously. I couldn't hurt them, but they could hurt me. "Just perfect!" I thought sarcastically for a moment until I was forced to the wall with a golden sword pinned to my throat.

I couldn't move. Fear overwhelmed me and I stood against the wall preparing myself for death. But it didn't come. Steve pushed the ZombiePigmen out of the way and jumped in front of me.

"Noooooooo!!!!!" I yelled as one of the zombiepigmen stabbed Steve with their sword, it's blade now shining red with blood. As he fell I cried out very loudly and a huge wave of energy forced the zombiepigmen back against a wall with a loud crack and they fell to the floor. But now I didn't care about them.

I dropped to the floor crying and sunk my head into my hands. After a few seconds I quickly searched my inventory to find anything that could help him. I knew he was fading away. I saw a potion of invisibility a splashed on the ground turning me and Steve invisible. I held him in my arms with all my strength and tried to carry him to a safer place. But he was to heavy for me and after a while I dropped to the ground and noticed the zombiepigmen were gone. As I cried I got very tired and sunk into a deep sleep.
