Nightmare's POV
I slowly and nervously walked into the main hall where the meeting was taking place. I was practically bursting with nervousness. If my cover was blown, I had nowhere to hide. I couldn't go back to the Nether, I wouldn't be able to stay here, and the End was strictly off limits. I gulped and grabbed Steve's hand. Then feeling slightly awkward, let go. I looked nervously at him, and he smiled back.
The room was very large, almost like a huge stadium. But without the seats going up to the top. It was made of oak wooden planks with glow stone circling the floor. There were seats circling the sides, leaving a path to walk into the open center. In the center was an open circle of space with one table in the exact center where (I'm guessing) the mayor was sitting. It was very crowded, and that was very bad.
I shuddered as a chill ran up my spine. Me and Steve sat on the end of the front row of seats. My hands grabbed the sides of the seat tightly and I closed my eyes. I was feeling very claustrophobic amongst the crowd.
"You ok?" Steve asked kindly.
"Y-yeah. I'm, I'm fine. I just don't feel really comfortable around big crowds." I said nervously opening my eyes. Steve stared back with concern on his face.
"Settle down! Settle down. Now you all know why we're here. To discuss the pressing matter of the creature known as, Nightmare." The crowd gasps. "She has, as you all probably know, been terrorising our world for years now. She is the most deadly mob in minecraft, and we must find a way to get rid of her!" The mayor (now I'm not guessing) said and the crowd began cheering. I gulped and shrunk back in my seat.
"Now is the time to decide the fate of Minecraft! I would like to know your ideas, on what to do!" He boomed and many hands shot up from the crowd.
"Ok, you." He said pointing to a teenage boy with short black hair and a blue and white checkered jacket.
"Well. Maybe we could trap her?" The teen said.
"And how do you suppose we do that?"
"Well, ummm. I, I don't know." Replied the teen.
"Ok. What about you?" Said the mayor and he pointed to a girl around the same age as the boy. She had long blond hair, blue eyes, and wore a lime green tank top and blue shorts.
"Maybe we could, um. Try to make peace with her?" She said, her voice fading as she finished.
People began to laugh loud. My heart sank.
"Was I really that bad?" I thought sadly.
"Hehehe. You are joking, aren't you? Make peace. Hehe." Chuckled the mayor happily.
"No. No. We can't make peace with the monster that kills people for no reason. The thing that caused us to even have this meeting! So the answer is no. Now, what about you?" He said more seriously. He pointed to an older woman with short brown hair, brown eyes and wearing a red dress.
"Why don't we just kill her!" She said.
"And, again, how do you suppose we do that?"
"Well, apparently she is actually hiding here in the village! If we could find where she's hiding, we could kill her there!"
"Hmmm. And what if we can't find her?"
"Then we can lure her away and kill her that way."
"Now that, is a plan! Guards! I want search parties out ASAP!" Boomed the mayor and sent a group of people running out the room. People began cheering loudly. I gulped and shrunk into my seat even more.
"Thankyou everyone for coming here today. We will begin the plan right away. Everyone is dismissed!" He finished and people started pouring out, and into the village.
"S-Steve." I stuttered as we walked out.
"Yeah?"
"They, they're, g-gonna kill, me. I can't stay here. I need to escape." I said and took Steve into the forest.
"Where will you go?"
"I, I don't know. I have nowhere to go." I said quietly and a tear dripped from my eye.
I felt as if someone had just ripped out my heart, laughed, dropped it, jumped on it, and began stabbing me to death. I felt empty. As if there was no escape. I was trapped. Nowhere to turn.
"I know where I'll go. It's my only hope. The End."
