Emily had always considered herself a cautious person. She was mindful of her surroundings, always looking over her shoulder as she walked home from work. But lately, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched.
It started with subtle signs—an eerie feeling of being followed, strange noises outside her apartment late at night. At first, Emily brushed it off as paranoia, but as the days went by, the sense of unease only grew stronger.
One evening, as she returned home from work, Emily noticed a shadowy figure lurking in the alley across from her building. Heart pounding, she quickened her pace, fumbling for her keys as she reached the safety of her apartment.
Once inside, Emily locked the door behind her, her hands trembling as she reached for her phone. She needed to document what she had seen, to have evidence in case something happened. With shaking fingers, she started recording, the fear evident in her voice as she described the figure she had seen.
Little did she know, this decision would seal her fate in the most horrifying way imaginable.
