I think, I fell

Oh, the secrets we keep, hidden from view,
A love that's grown strong, but not yet true.
For fear of the heart, and the tears that may flow,
We keep our feelings locked, and our hearts in tow.

My best friend, my confidant, my guiding light,
The one I turn to, through day and night.
With a smile so bright, and a laugh so free,
He lightens my heart, and sets me free.

But oh, the danger of loving so true,
For if the truth be known, what will we do?
Will he feel the same, or will he shy away?
And so we keep our secrets, day by day.
