Poem 12

If I had it to do  all over again,
Of course, there'd be some changes,
Maybe one or two,
Or three or four,

If I had it to do all over again,
I'd cherish you a lot more,
I'd laugh at all your jokes,
I'd hold you a little while longer,
And I wouldn't have let you go,

If I had it to do all over again,
I would have been more careful about what I asked for,
I would have been more serious about how you affected me,
I would have spent more time with you,
And I wouldn't have taken your presence for granted,

Even If I had it to do all over again,
Maybe I wouldn't change one thing,
Maybe it was all a process of learning,
Making the mistakes I made,

But Baby, if I had it to do all over again,
I know one thing that I wouldn't change,
The one thing that matters most to me,
You.
