I have no idea why, I find this really cute, but I also just find them as friends or sisters at the same time. I say this because Aoi only wanted Kanao to be her sister in the beginning when Kanao was picking her last name. Not the mention the two don't have a lot of screen time together, Somewhat in the manga. I do find it pretty nice when Kanao actually makes her own choice to save Aoi from Tengen. I think this ship is cute, but at the same time the two would have been better off as friends or sisters.
