So my best advice is to never make deep connections, because eventually everyone dose leaves. when they do it kills us because knowing that someone who you once cared about with your whole being, becomes a stranger again it hurts.
Knowing you can never talk to them again and after a bit you dont know who they are, hurts, it feels like a thousand knives are being shoved into your chest and then twisted.
That doesn't mean dont get to know people just keep in mind people come and go and thats okay.
That goes for family aswell, even when jess(step mom) died no one was there for us we have to learn how to do all this shit on our own.
You will learn that you cant rely on anyone but you because whether you like it or not you are going to be the one constant in your life and take care of you please i wish we did a long time ago.
But anyways, keep up with art and later on you learn that you love to read.
