It's ironic how people can make you feel everything at once, treat you better, and make you the prettiest person in the whole wide world. They show that they care for you, love you, and swear they'd do everything for you. And then they prove that, if they wanted to, they would. Like, they're not just full of words, but actions speak their words. However, despite their words syncing with their actions, they still end up cheating on you.
In the snap of a hand, you have been manipulated and gaslighted, and it's scary to trust again. It's harder to breathe, not only because you know it's like undergoing a major restart, as if you just started to walk and learn to grab things like a one-year-old child, considering you've been with them for more than a year or so, but also because you have been tricked. If you had known, you wouldn't think it's a treat, but rather a threat.
