The VCR whirred to life, and on screen, the man who had led them down this road of discovery appeared on screen, sitting on a couch.
"You don't know me, but I know you. What you've seen so far isn't necessarily what'll happen, but what could happen. I took the liberty of sharing these visions with you in hopes that you'll prevent it from happening. I don't have much time left. Come see me when you're done. I'll know. Thanks for watching."
Static overtook the television, and the three stared at the screen. Michael loosened his grip on Henry's arm and both Henry and William sat motionless.
Henry glanced over at William. "What now, then?"
William sighed and stood. He rubbed his face thoughtfully and walked over to the television.
"I don't know, Henry," he answered. "How are we to know if he's truthful in these assessments?"
"We have nothing to lose, Will," Henry said. "We should go."
William sighed. "I'm sorry," he mumbled.
Henry raised an eyebrow. "What?"
William looked over at Henry, trying to hold back his emotions.
"I'm sorry," he said again, his voice trembling. "For all of it."
Henry nodded. Though it hasn't happened yet, he was happy to hear it. They did not know for sure this would happen, but they knew that if it would, they could stop it.
"We can change it, Will," Henry said softly. "We need to visit him."

A/N: Thank you all for tuning into another chapter! This one is relatively short, and I'm sorry for that. Honestly, I'm running out of ideas for the non-reaction chapters. Haha! Anyway, remember to tune into my other story, The Walking Dead: Together. If you like TWD and you have a crush on Maggie, or if you just like romance/drama/horror/sci-fi (that's a lot of subgenres. 🥴), you'll like it. Anyway, thank you all for reading, following, voting, and commenting!
