Synopsis: Ping Pong Ball brings Disc to the dandelion field, where he last saw Pearly, and between the 2 grown contestants, an unexpected relationship starts to blossom.

Disc wasn't particularly fond of the idea of going outside and playing, as he would rather stay at home and read a book, maybe even listen to some music. Though, he pretty much had to, since that's what Ping Pong Ball wanted, and he couldn't let the child go alone.

"Hey! Disc!"

Said boy called out to him. Looking up, he watched as Ping Pong Ball bounced towards him with a cheerful grin, and just from seeing the little boy so happy, he couldn't help but let a small smile appear on his face.

Since the beginning of the show, Disc had always looked out for the kid and took care of him; someone had to, anyway. Their bond was so strong, it could be compared to that of father and son.

Ping Pong Ball tackled Disc into a hug. "Found you!" He giggled.

"Found me?" Disc raised an eyebrow. "Where have you been, kid?" He asked.

The young boy let go of him and bounced on his heels. "I went and met someone I know!"

"Who?"

"Pearly!"

Disc had to wonder if there's something he missed from when he was eliminated. He didn't remember Ping Pong Ball interacting with many contestants, as he was really young, and the only other contestant that was even remotely close to his age was Toaster. And even then, Toaster was usually with Kite.

Ping Pong Ball's smile then faded into a sad one as he looked down. "She looked after me when you were gone..." He said.

Now the ravenet was surprised. For a long time, his biggest worry was the child's safety and what would happen to him if he was gone, and now that he got the answer, a big wave of relief washed over him, eliminating the worry he had.

And at first, he didn't think much of Pearly, too. He just thought of her as another nice girl like Kite and Popcorn. But knowing now that she took care of Ping Pong Ball in his place made him want to show her his gratitude.

A smile curved on his face as he looked down. "I should probably thank her for that..." He thought out loud.

Ping Pong Ball heard that and took Disc by his wrist. "Then let's go before she leaves!" He exclaimed and tried to pull him up. Disc chuckled at his attempt and stood up by himself, then let the kid guide him to where she currently was.

Pearly was in a dandelion field, humming a tune to herself. She plucked out a flower and blew on it, letting the dandelion seeds fly in the air. She watched in awe as the seeds flew over the field and then landed on the grass.

"Pearly!"

Hearing someone call her name, she looked back and saw Ping Pong Ball running, with Disc not too far behind.

"Hi again." She smiled warmly at Ping Pong Ball, then looked at Disc and smiled wider. "Hi, Disc!"

"H-hey." Disc smiled awkwardly. He glanced down at the kid, who was looking up at him with anticipation. Taking a deep breath, he looked at Pearly. "So...you're the one that looked after Ping Pong Ball after my elimination, correct?" He asked.

"Oh, I did indeed!" Pearly nodded. "And it wasn't all that hard, too. Since, well, he's a very sweet kid." She knelt down and pinched Ping Pong Ball's cheek, causing him to giggle in response.

A slight blush appeared on the ravenet's cheeks. He could see how motherly she was towards the kid, and he had to admit that it was really endearing.

"Thank you." He smiled.

Pearly looked up at him, confused. "For what?" She asked.

"For taking care of him when I wasn't here. You have my gratitude."

"Eheheh, no problem!" Pearly chuckled. "That's pretty sweet of you, Disc!"

Disc blushed harder from her compliment. He wasn't sure if she was just pulling on his heartstrings, but her tone countered his doubt. She was being genuine about it.

"Er...sure..." He mumbled, unsure of what to say.

"Hey. I have an idea." The pink haired girl walked closer to him, and grabbed both of his hands. "How about we hang out sometime later? I'd love to know you better." She suggested, blushing slightly from asking this question and from holding his hands.

At this point, Disc's face was redder than Boxing Glove's hair. Never did he think that someone like Pearly would suggest that. But at that point, he couldn't refuse. Besides, he also wanted to know her better.

"Uh...well..." The ravenet looked away, and noticed Ping Pong Ball looking at him, his eyes telling him that he should accept. Sighing, he looked back at Pearly. "Alright. I'm cool with that." He said.

Hearing this, Pearly's face lit up. "Great!" She grinned, then let go of Disc's hands to give him a quick hug before pulling away from him. "So...meet up here tomorrow?" She asked. Disc nodded in response. "Alright! See you soon!" She waved her arm and skipped further into the field.

Disc just stood there, watching her frolicking in the field with a smile brighter than the sun. He sighed. "If this isn't love, then I don't know what is." He thought to himself. He was certain that in this short span of time he had fallen for the pink haired girl.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he felt someone tugging on his shirt. Looking down, he saw Ping Pong Ball looking up with an innocent smile. He let out a sigh and pat the young boy's head. "You surprise me sometimes, kid." He said. Ping Pong Ball simply let out a giggle as a response.
