Once upon a time, in a town
not so far away, there were two
ridiculously handsome boys
who were the best of friends
—like peanut butter and jelly,
or socks and sandals, but way
cooler. For some totally messed
up reason, they both fell head
over heelsfor two stunning girls
who were also inseparable best
friends. I mean, what are the
odds, right? So, on this fateful day, they all
decided to make things official
and started dating at the same
time, like they were in some sort
of synchronized romance
competition. They graduated
on the same day, which was
just a little too perfect, and then,
in a plot twist that could only
happen in a rom-com, they both
proposed on the same day. Talk
about a double whammy! They
got engaged that day, too, and
just when you thought it couldn't
get any crazier, they got married
on the same day!And guess what? They all lived
in the same town, the same
neighborhood, and even on the
same street—in two houses that
were practically neighbors.YEP, THOSE ARE
OUR PARENTS!!Now, these two pairs of best
friends have always been best
friends, and because they're so
busy being adults (whatever that
means), the time we—their kids,
spent together turned into epic
hangouts. We'd always end up
eating at one of the houses, as
if it was the most normal thing
ever. Seriously, it was like a
buffet of chaos and laughter
every night! With the nine of us, we became
more than just neighbors or
friends; we turned into one big,
happy, slightly dysfunctional
family. His older brother became
my older brother, which was great,
except when he tried to boss me
around. And his younger sister
and mine? They're the same age,
so they're practically twins—sharing
secrets, snacks, and the occasional
eye roll at our parents' antics.AS IF IT'S THE MOST
NORMAL THING EVER!-AUTHOR POV -
- THE MORNING
AFTER THE
MOVING IN-"Mom—I'm going to school—!!" The girl yelled dramatically as she flung open the front door like a scene straight out of a soap opera. With a flourish, she stepped out into the front yard, ready to conquer the day, or at least make it to school without tripping over her own feet. She stood there, surveying her kingdom—or, you know, the neighborhood—when suddenly, a car pulled up and parked few meters away from her like it was the star of a movie.
Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she spotted a familiar face climbing out of the car—well, two familiar faces, actually. "Ohh—!? Uncle Han—!? What—-!?" she mumbled, her brain trying to process how her uncle had suddenly become a part of her morning routine. Was he giving a visit? Was he here to rescue her from the horrors of school? The possibilities were endless, but none of them made sense.
