The group was surprised by how cheerful thr city of Mondstadt was, considering Teyvat was currently being attacked by 3 of the seven "Come! You just have to see the shining idol of our city!" Venti exclaimed, leading them up the stairs. They arrived in front of a large white building with big wooden doors "Come in! She's a delight, trust me!" He opened the doors, tevealing the inside of the building, long wooden chairs set in lines, a pedestal and few people inside "Is this a church?" Ganyu asked "Uh, basically, it's a Cathedrial" they quietly walked in, well not Venti "Sister Barbara! Are you here?" He called out.
A petite girl with blonde twisted pigtails in a cute white dress came out from one of towers "Venti? Are you here to-oh, who are they?" Barbara asked curiously "These are my friends! I brought them here to recieve blessings from the Anemo Archon!" The group stared at him "Huh? Why?" Yanfei asked "The Anemo Archon, Barbatos, does not appear often, but will bless those who need help, it might help you stay safe!" The group nodded their heads, still confused "Why, of course I'll help with that" Barbara said calmly "Everyone please take a seat, I'll go get the holy water" they looked at eachother confused but sat down.
When Barbara returned, Venti bowed his head and put his hands together, she poured the holy water on his head which then dripped down his face and onto his hands, everyone swore they saw a faint blueish green glow around him, when she stopped he wiped away all the water the best he could and smiled "Alright, this is very simple, you simply need to bow your head, put your hands together, think of why you wish to be blessed by Lord Barbatos and let me pour this on you, understood?" Barbara explained, everyone nodded. Everyone did as they were told and all recieved a light glow, and they all thought the same thing, which was to protect those they cared about.
"That was the stupidest shit I've ever done" Scaramouche and Xiao said at the same time "Well, it worked didn't it? Everyone glew, glowed?" Venti pondered on that.
Venti skipped around "Now that we've been blessed, we should find a place to stay! The city really isn't recommended though..." he said slowly, the others agreed with him "Oh I know! Follow me!"
They followed Venti far out of the city, some occasionally getting caught in overgrowing roots and needing help before they could get going. In about an hour, they were in front of ruined tower in a rather dead looking landscape "Venti...where are we?" Gaming asked, looking around curiously "Welcome, to Stormterrors Lair! As the citizens like to call it, ehe!" He giggled at their scared reactions "No matter what, don't scream, you'll only draw more attention to us!" Venti said, now in a serious manner. Xiao raised an eyebrow at him as he didn't think this boy could be that serious, but saw Furina and Nahida nod slowly, almost cautiously.
They slowly walked into the ruin, the echoing of their footsteps was rather eerie, mixed with the low growling they heard from the top "We'll have to um...climb up those stairs somehow..." Venti whispers, moving closer and observing the broken stairs "What!? Why?! That's where the growling is coming from!" Chongyun whisper-yells as he clings onto Xingqiu "Shh, it's okay Yun-Yun, he wouldn't suggest going up there unless her knew it was safe...right Venti?" Xingqiu asked, Venti nodded in response "Of course, aha! That's how we can use these!" The group then very awkward started climbing up the broken stairs, having to help eachother up as they slipped and began to fall.
Venti poked his head through a hole in the last floor, smiling softly at what he saw "The growling is so loud now..." Ganyu said, shaking and holding onto herself "Mhm, Furina? Nahida? Do you wanna go up first this time?" Venti asked, the two girl's eyes widened and they both nervously and aggressively shook their heads 'no'. Venti sighed and climbed through the hole.

We watched as Venti climbed through the small hole, we heard his footsteps move farther away from us. I hesitantly made my way through the hole not looking up, when I looked away from the ground my eyes widened "A-" "Shh" Venti rushed over and covered my mouth before I could make a loud sound "Don't wake him! He can wake himself up!" He whispered in my ear, I slowly nod and gulped as he moved away from me, allowing me to see what was behind him. I lean down and look through the hole "So?" Lumine looked at me, awaiting an answer.
"Uhm, just...whatever you do, don't make a loud noise..!" I whispered, everyone nodded, and Furina sighed as her and Nahida stepped forward. She slipped Nahida through the hole and I picked her up, placing her in front of me, she didn't move from where I put her, I then helped Furina through the hole, then everyone else. We all just stared in horror at it. In front of us was an enormous, blue, sleeping Dragon.
Venti happily skipped forward "Venti!" I moved forward to try and stop him but Nahida and Furina finally moved forward and grabbed me "But-!" The two just shook their heads "It's okay, he knows what he's doing" Nahida says "Hopefully" Furina adds, that did not help my nervousness.
We watched as the dragon stirred in it's sleep we all took a step back, except for Venti, who still moved forward. The dragon opened it's eyes staring right at us, it lifted it's head and let out a loud roar that echoed through the ruin, we covered our ears and shut our eyes, I opened one eye and looked at Venti moving closer, seemingly unaffected "Venti!!!" There was no way he could hear me over the roar, right? He stood right in front of the dragon with a frown, the dragon finally looked down at him, not us, just him.
The dragon closed it's mouth, moving it's face closer to Venti who sighed "Dvalin! There was no need to roar at my friends!" He said, wait, was he scolding the dragon!? We all looked at eachother confused "Sorry" we heard a deeper voice say, was it the dragon..??? Venti smiled contently at it, and pet it on the head "It's okay Dvalin" he said, hugging the dragon. I saw him whisper something to 'Dvalin' but couldn't make out what it was, the dragon then nodded and Venti stepped back.
The dragon covered itself with it's wings and glowed a light blue, we watched as it shrunk. It uncovered itself and it looked like a human male, but with wings.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Lumine yelled "Lumi! Language!" Venti laughed at us.
