"What do you mean something happens?" I asked "In a few months your loop will be raided and it's all because of my brother he's going to lead the main shit starter to here and I've got to protect you all." looking at Enoch

 "Barron he's the leader of it all he going to change the balance the only reason Grandpa will be dead is that he would refuse to give up this location. Grandpa knew that you hated him but he's protecting you he's going to die for all of you that's how much he loves you guys.

And I've grown to love you guys too, when I told you some people don't want to be saved Grandpa doesn't his time is running out, coming to an end even if he told this location he'd be dead anyway I can't change the future no matter how hard I'd try it will always come back to its course. 

One of the journals from when he to war was all about you guys, Grandpa thought about you guys every single day he thought you'd enjoy resurrecting the dead to scare people, not only was he going to war with the Nazis but also to get rid of the Hollows." she explained to me

 "I'll be  down by the ocean," she said before leaving Putting her sketchbook down before picking up the present that Abe got me opening it up a smile made its way across my face seeing it was a metal journal twisting the coffin lock and opening it up seeing a letter picking it up pulling it out of the envelope and unfolding the piece of paper

'Dear Enoch,

As you read this I won't have much time left, so I gave my granddaughter this to deliver to you and she would've explained everything. During my time at the house, I loved being around all of you and didn't tell the others you were my favourite besides Emma I thought your peculiarity was the best and coolest by far being able to raise things from the dead and making them come to life.

You intimated to me I'm not going to lie not to you, it was the broodiness that scared me and at one stage I thought you were going to murder me in my sleep because I knew you hated me that much. Enoch you most decently have the hardest shell to crack and I know my little huntress is slowly cracking don't shut her out, never lose your broodiness, stubbornness and the way you make those terrifying dolls or whatever you create.

This journal is for you to put your ideas and create more of your terrifying creatures and most of all write down your thoughts, the pen is inside the coffin it's been handmade by me and my little huntress.

Calista would've told you to a certain extent why she gave you that ruby, it's because she's fallen for you and when the time comes she's going to sacrifice herself to save you in the future the moment you are in danger or you're going to die Calista will protect you even if it means dying herself to save you and she's begun training you for when she dies for you.

She won't leave you even the moment you think she will Calista won't she's made a promise and a vowel not only to me but to herself you've just got to find out yourself. Please take care of her and when I'm finally at peace I hope we can let bygones be bygones Enoch to meet you in another life

As I read the letter sadness filled me even letting out a few tears. I never hated Abe I was jealous of him and the attention he got but knowing he's going to die shortly is making me regret the way I've treated him in the past and now I've got a chance to make things right with his little huntress and I'm going to that for him.

Looking down at the ruby that's around my neck knowing she's going to give her life to save mine and that warms my heart but it also breaks it that Calista is going to die protecting us protecting me. Putting the letter back in the envelope with a smile on my face "Down to the ocean I go." I mutter 

Putting my bag down as I make my way to the ocean, taking off my shoes and rolling up my jeans before stepping into the water. Closing my eyes breathing in the salty air feeling more at home than ever before "Calista." I hear Enoch call my name "Hi Enoch what can I do for you?" I ask as he stands next to me 

"I read the letter that Abe put into the book." turning and looking at him "Yeah what was it about?" I ask him "He told me that my peculiarity was his favourite being able to raise the dead with a heart." making me laugh

 "I didn't hate him, I was flat out jealous of him and the attention he got as if he was this shiny new toy and he was messing everything up I was used to the normality that we had when it was just us no Abe." nodding my head

"But when he left and broke Emma's heart that's when the hatred kicked in he made her happy to be with someone romantically and then he left her high and dry. She cried a lot and I mean a lot especially when he stopped replying to her, I understand that he was fighting for his life and the others and it felt like we didn't matter to him anymore but I wish I could speak to him and tell him.

In this letter he also wrote about the crystal around my neck, he said you're going to sacrifice yourself from me if I'm on the verge of dying." nodding my head "It's true if your heart stops beating it gives you that extra life if I'm not there to save you in time but yes if the time comes for me to save you I will." I told him
