chapter one

*beep beep beep*
First day of 7th grade, scary. not really tho I'll live the only thing I'm worried about is making friends you know stuff like that. I shut off my alarm and pick out my school clothes.
I pick out something casual but cute and then do my makeup.
I go down stairs.
"MUM?"
not here again, I'm gonna have to wake up my brother Benjamin.
he's in 6th grade so he's not far behind me but there's a big maturity difference.
you see I grew up taking care of him since I was 7, my mum clearly wasn't ready to have kids..
me and my brother has 2 different dads but I would never classify him as my step brother because I love him with all my heart.
I go up and bang on his door,
Benjamin: "COMMING JEEZ"
he opens the door fully dressed.
"I'm suprised"
Benjamin: "oh shut up y/n"
"go grab some cereal"
I follow him downstairs.
"you walking?"
Benjamin: "have to don't i"
"alright grumpy"
Benjamin; " your not walking with me"
"2 different schools" I smile and walk out the door.
I take a deep breath and i walk through the doors of the school.
I check my time table and walk straight to my class.
I sit next to this boy,? maybe a girl wearing a care bear shirt with a bowl cut as the teacher starts taking attendance.
the "person" infront of me keeps talking to the blond girl beside them.
???: "hey like are you new you weren't in our grade last year or anything"
"oh yeah I am"
teacher: "Anna kone"
Anna: "present"
???: 'that's like chill uhm I'm maya and this is my BEST friend Anna"
oh it's a girl.
teacher: "brandt"
brandt: "PRESIDENT"
everyone laughs but me.
"anyways I'm y/n"
Maya: "oh yeah that's like cool uhm do you wanna hang our with me and Anna at lunch?"
Teacher: "Maya ishii Peter's"
Maya: "present"
Teacher: "ishii like oshii, meant food right?"
Maya: " yeah thats like so cool how did you know that"
he then proceeds to talk about his Japanese lessons or something.
maya turns to me when he's finished.
"oh yeah I'll hang out with yous"
she smiles.
Teacher: "y/n"
"present"
there's a knock on the classroom door.
suddenly a tall Asian boy with the prettiest eyes and great fashion walks in.
???: "uh is y/n in this classroom?"
Maya: "hey shuji"
his name is shuji I'm guessing.
he just looks at her and then I stand up.
shuji:" principle wants to talk to you"
he gestures me to follow him.
Class: "OOOOOOOO"
God they're annoying.
I close the door and follow him.
"do you know why?"
shuji: " sum to do with your mum calling you or sum"
"ight"
we get to the office and he gestures me to the door.
"oh uh thanks"
he just nods his head and walks off.
I open the door.
principle: "your mother would like to talk to you"
she hands me the phone and I take it off her.
mum: "hey y/n"
"what is it and why didn't you judt call me on my phone"
mum: "can a mother not just check on her daughter?"
I press hang up.
I have enough to think about not her.
I leave the office and go to 2nd period.
nobody I know is here and its maths.
God get me out of this place please.
the bell for 2nd period ends.
finally break time.
I walk around to find Anna and maya and I finally come across them.
"was up"
Anna: "what did the principle want?"
"oh my mum called the school"
Maya: "shujis like my brother so its like -"
Anna: " such a coincidence that lik-"
Maya: " yeah that he like came fo-"
Anna: "yeah like"
God they keep cutting eachover out.
"oh nice"
Anna: " so uhm do you like anyo-"
Maya: "Yeah like I like brandt"
Anna: " yeah and I like ale-"
Maya: " yeah"
"nah not really"
shujis mayas brother?? but he's so fit and she's maya... anyways I have to get his number.
the bell rings and we get to 3rd period.
I see alex in there anyways so i just sit beside him.
Alex : " hey"
"was up"
Alex : " nun"
he seems kinda depressed to be honest I wonder why.
alex : " your like pretty hot"
"oh uhm thanks"
we're silent to eachover for the rest of the class and suddenly the bell rings.
I see pieces of paper hung everywhere.
*brandt loves maya*
*Dustin loves maya*
oh god.
I find maya and Anna.
maya looks exited.
Maya: " omg he's like in love with me"
"I don't thi-"
God if they cut anyone off one more time Ima leave.
maya gets gestured over by the popular girls.
and they're talking about the posters, maya looks exited.
God she's gullible.
anyways I go to my next class with Anna and maya.
brandt and Dustin are in this class to... oh no.
maya grabs a peice of paper and writes down

I feel bad for her but I know she had to learn a lesson.
she gives the note to the boys.
the lunch bell rings after class and I'm standing at the livkers with Anna and maya.
suddenly brandt and Dustin run over practically tripping over their own feet.
Dustin: " brandt says yes"
brandt: " Dustin says yes"
Maya utters some kinda weird shit outa her mouth and all of a sudden brandt and Dustin are saying
"U.G.I.S"
Maya: " wait what uh what does that mean"
this weird looking ass bitch comes over.
???: " don't you know it means ugliest girl in school and they said they don't know why your wearing a bra Anna cuz you have nothing to put in it"
they look gobsmacked.
whoever this girl is she's a buzz kill.
maya runs to the bathroom crying with Anna.
we comfort her for a bit then all of a sudden Anna gets a idea.
Anna: " do you know where the eighth graders sit?"
we walk out to the back of the school.
???: "you shouldn't be back here"
Shuji: "get out of here freaks, oh hey y/n"
"was up"
maya and Anna turn around,
"no its important guys"
maya starts crying again
Maya: "see he doesn't care and he will probably call me ugis too"
Shujis mood flipped.
Shuji: "did you just say ugis? ugis is the worst thing you can ever be called, the list of ugises in the past are all hanous dogs"
Anna: "there's a list"
Shuji: "look I'm not gonna beet up a seventh grader but I can teach you some words..what does he look like?"
Maya: " well brandt has like this chestnut silky hair and brown honeydew eyes"
"no he means bad features"
Maya: " oh well brandt he's like short, Is that good?"
shuji nods.
Anna: "oh and I head Stacy davis gave him a handy when his dad died to help him feel better and she said it looks like a aardvark"
"DAMN"
shuji: " here's what your gonna say alright... hey! you porcupine midget peice of shit, I wouldn't touch that dick with a 10 foot pole.. so suck it bitch"
"ate"
shuji: " ur making me sound zesty"
I smile.
anyways brandt and maya had a bitch out and she screamed something about his dad dying? I didn't even watch it was probably pathetic.
