the next day at lunch Anna and maya were sitting away from eachover, maya was on her own but Anna was with some other girls so I decided to sit with maya.
"hey, why aren't you with anna"
maya: "oh like she like started fighting with me yesterday after the concert and like"
"oh uhm"
maya: "do you wanna sleep over at my house tonight"
"bet"
I took this as a opertunity to see shuji not maya. it might be selfish but it's true.
After school I agreed to come to hwur House at 5 so I sprinted home to get ready, shit I forgot about Benjamin.
"hey buddy any way you can sleep over at Billy's tonight "
billy was his best friend.
Benjamin: "will you ask his mom"
"of course"
my brother didn't question why but I think he was glad to vet some time away so I called up Billy's mom, her name was Andrea.
Andrea: "hello who is this"
"hi this is Benjamin's sister uhm my mom isn't home often as you know and I really need to go out to my friends for a break and a time away from the stress please take Benjamin just for the night"
Andrea: "of course honey I'll pick him up right away"
"thanks bye"
she hangs up and I tell my brother to go pack, I do the same.
then Andrea pulls up.
"pick you up at 1 tomorrow"
Benjamin: "okay"
he runs of into the car and by that stage I start to get ready.
I do natural make up and wear white top with puffy sleeves that shows some stomach and blue ripped jeans.
I walk to the house and knock on their door, I see the shadow of someone walking up, it's yuki.
yuki: "hello y/n"
"hey yuki"
I take my shoes off and see maya coming through the door.
Maya: "hey so like what do you wanna do"
"do you wanna give me a house tour"
maya: "sure"
we walk up the stairs and she shows me her room, it's cute and colourful with flower walls.
"pretty"
I see so many photos of her and anna everywhere.
"wanna tell me what happened with u and anna"
Maya: "yeah she was like here and she was like hogging my mum and acting like it was her house"
"oh well her parents are going through a divorce"
maya: "seriously? your siding with her??"
"well I wouldn-"
Maya: "maybe you should just go away I need a break"

I leave her room and go down stairs into the kitchen as I see yuki making dinner.
this is my chance to get her approval just incase me and shuji ever become a thing.
"こんにちは。夕食か何かお手伝いしましょうか ?" (hello can I help you with dinner or anything)
Yuki: "あなたは日本語をとても上手に話します " (you speak Japanese very well)
"thank you, so do you need any help? I think maya needs space"
Yuki: "ugh well you can help me chop carrots if you want"

I grab a carrot and a peeler.
Yuki,: "how do you speak Japanese so well?"
"I love Japanese culture and I have alot of free time"
After some time dinner is ready and everyone is called to eat.
I'm not sure where to sit so I sit on the first seat to the right.
I see shuji walk in and I straighten up my back.
Shuji: "since when were you here?"
"oh I got here like a hour ago"
he sits down beside me and maya comes in.
Maya: "wow now your sitting beside him?"
"huh"
Yuki: "don't be rude maya"
Maya: "I'm not she's frikin all over shuji"
"what"
Yuki: "maya enough "
shujis dad comes in and sits down.
(idk his name so we're gonna call him sd for now)
sd: "so y/n tell me about yourself"
"well I'm originally from (......) and I just moved last year"
Yuki: "she speaks great Japanese"
Maya: "since when"
"I've been speaking it since I was 10"
sd: "wow do you mind speaking some now?"
"こんにちは、私は13歳です。好きな色は白です"
everyone looks kinda suprised.
sd: "that's great"
I like shujis dad he's so enthusiastic.
shuji: "yeah she can speak it better than maya"
Maya: "no like I speak really good Japanese"
shuji: "you literally can't "
yuki:" guys stop"
everyone continues to ask about my Japanese except for maya.
After dinner I helped yuki clean up and maya storms to her room.
"oh uh"
Shuji: "ignore her come up to my room or something"
"bet"
so we ran up to his room and I collapsed on his bed.
"I'm so tired"
it was getting late to be fair and I don't think I was sleeping in mayas room any time soon.
shuji: "play fifa with me"
"okay"
we play fifa for around 2 hours and then it was 10 pm.
"I beat your ass"
shuji: "shut up"
"anyways I gotta go sleep I guess byee"
he smiles.
shuji :" byee"

I walk into mayas room.
Maya: "why were you like in his room"
"I thought I'd let you cool off"
Maya: "yeah well like I'd rather you not sleep in my bed cuz like you know"
"okay"
I get changed into some pajamas in the bathroom and come back into her room not knowing where im going to sleep.
there was a pillow on the floor and she was already snoring.
no shot I'm sleeping on the floor...
I head down stairs in hope to sleep on the couch for atleast a hour and I hear someone come down stairs, I just presumed it was yuki and continued looking for a blanket but the shadow looked taller, shuju?.
shuji: "yo what are you doing"
"your sister isn't letting me sleep in her bed so I'm sleeping on the couch"
Shuji: "ight, come up to my room if you want"
I follow him upstairs, thank god.
we get to his room and I sit on his bed.
shuji: "sorry about her she's not exactly the most welcoming"
"don't be I think she just wanted to make anna jealous and there's alot of stuff going on in her head right now"
shuji: "yeah I guess"
I was starting to get nervous about if we were sharing the bed or not so I decided to pop the question.
"are we sharing"
Shuji: "yea unless you don't wanna"
"no no it's okay"
he raises his eyebrows at my desperation.
Shuji: "ight"
damn he's dry at night, I stand up and start walking around.
Shuji: "what are you doing"
"I don't know it's only 10 I don't wanna sleep"

he walks up to me and trips me up so I'm on the ground.

I squeeze his knees and he starts giggling.
maya walks in.
Maya: "oh my god y/n why are you like obsessed with my brother"
she looks like she's about to cry.
Shuji: "leave dummy you were gonna make her sleep on the floor"
Maya: "YEAH BUT SHE WAS LIKE BEING A BITCH"
shuji: "maybe you should just go away"
