I was walking back from school, and like always I had to stay back to finish some of my classmate's assignments, cause I won't be able to do them when I got home.
???: "Hey, dude look it's the nerd again."
XXX: "At least nerds can talk she's a useless mute."
???: "Hi useless, did you finish my homework," I decided to ignore them and tried to walk past them but he grabbed my hair forcefully and pulled me to the ground.
???: "Answer me when I'm talking to you," he said grabbing my jaw harshly and making me look up at him. Sunhoo is one of my classmates and also a school bully who picks on nerds like me.
XXX: "She couldn't even answer if she wanted to,"
Sunhoo: "Oh I almost forgot you're nothing but a useless mute," he smirked I couldn't take it anymore, I had tears building up in my eyes from their hurtful word
"I,M NOT A MUTE!!!" I yelled at them, I quickly closed my mouth realizing the gravity of what I had done. They looked at me shocked but a devilish smirk grew on Sunhoo's face
"Looks like I'm going to have to remind you of what happens when you talk back at me," he grabs my hair and starts dragging me into an abandoned building
"Pls, let me go," I pleaded but he didn't listen, I tried to fight back but only got a strong kick to my abdomen by his friend, I whimpered in pain, pain isn't a new thing to me but, where he kicked my was already badly injured.
They dragged me into a room and closed the door, they smirked and started kicking, punching, and slapping me until I vomited blood, I curled into a ball and tried to protect my face and stomach but they didn't stop. After a long tortucer section which was only shortened cause Sunhoo had to receive a call and came back. He crouched in front of my bruised body and held the back of my neck,
"Don't think I'm done with you 'cause we just got started, the only reason I'm letting you go now is because I have better thing to do." he roughly let go of my neck and stood up
"Yong-san let's leave before she gets on my nerves again," they both left. I gathered every last strength in me and limbed my way out of the building, it was already pretty dark outside. Weakly I limbed my way back home, ready for another punishment from my 'mom'.
I stopped at the front door and stared at the doorknob for a few seconds,
"I got this, just a few minutes of pain, and then I can cry myself to sleep," I slowly turned the door handle and walked in, and the next thing I knew I was met with an unbearable pain in the knee. i fell onto my knees in pain.
"You, ungrateful brat where have you been?" I looked up at her she was holding a wooden bat in her hand as she glared down at me

"Never call my mom again, understand," I nodded but she slapped me again
"I need words, idiot," she growled
"Y-yes ma'am," I stuttered shaking in fear
"Good now go to your room and don't come out until tomorrow, when I come and get you myself,"
"Clear?" I nodded
"Now get out of my sight!!!" I hugged my bag and weakly limbed into my room which was very hard considering the fact that my knee was hurting. I walked into my room locked the door, went towards the mirror, and looked at myself I looked terrible, bruised from head to toe. A tear escapes my eye,
I ran onto my bed and cried into my pillow. Why does life have to be so cruel? why doesn't the ground just open up and swallow me now?
