After practice, Keiran waited for them to clean up so she and Kalel could lower the rim and shoot around while waiting she noticed Paige still there waiting for her

       "Hey Paige you know you don't have to wait around right" I call out to her, waiting for her response "I wanted to talk to you, maybe play with you and Kal" I was pretty shocked, to say the least "ok! I shout back" watching her walk over to me after everybody has cleared out, I hear Kalel shout to her "hurwy up paigey I wanna play" he still has a little lisp and I think it's pretty cute. Paige runs over and swoops him up tickling him, I think it's pretty cute that they almost immediately got their bond back, hopefully me and her are next. I grab a smaller basketball and pass it to Kal, he almost demands Paige to be on his team. It was a 2v1 and I was losing BAD. Paige and Superman had almost 10 points on my head "I give up" I finally say Paige giggles and I think that my heart falls to my stomach, Paige is really beautiful and I love the way she treats Kal

P͟a͟i͟g̲e͟s͟ P͟O͟V͟

Me and Kal beat Kier by a long shot, mostly with me picking him up and bringing him to the rim me and kier are just talking about our upcoming game when I feel a tug at my shorts "Yes kal" I say looking at the little boy while he gives me the most adorable puppy eyes "can you please pwease have a sleepover tonight" I was kinda taken back since I haven't been back in his life for that long but when he was younger he loved to cuddle with me "I'm not sure your sister would be okay with that" looking at kier for help she slowly nods her head and says "I don't really have a guest room but you could always sleep with me" I thought about it for a second before saying yes I couldn't resist kalel's pleading eyes for another second

         Paige and Kieran arrive at keirs house and walk inside, Kal immediately pulls Paige into his dinosaur-themed room "Please play with me pweaseee" She plays with him while Kieran makes dinner for the group of three, settling on something simple as she was in college after all so alfredo would have to do "MADI, KAL! Come down for dinner" she shouts and hears footsteps slowly walking down the stairs

        As I walk down the stairs with kal I think about how much I've missed being around Kier  "you know, no one has called me madi since we fell off, I never let them" she giggles a bit almost looking at me silently asking if I was serious she looks at me and says "eat your dinner madi, and between us, no one has called me Keira since that night we stopped being friends" I feel butterflies in my stomach thinking about how she also kept our nicknames for each other between ourselves
as I finish my food keir asks me to read Kal a bedtime story while she cleans so I do so and wait for him to fall asleep before I leave, I sneak out of his room to go talk to Kier. "Hey Keir" I whisper almost not wanting to break the silence "let's head to bed" We walk to her room and I'm not expecting her to let me sleep in the same bed as her but she does mumbling in a low voice "we used to do it all the time calm down Paige" I slip in the bed and whisper a goodnight although I'm sure it will be hard to go to sleep with my long term crush right next to me
