Do you recall our existence?
With entwined hands,
beneath the lamppost's glow,
We strolled together,
side by side,
in the night's flow.

Now departed,
we've bid our final adieu,
Our tale concluded,
our journey through.
Once, I believed we could transcend the impossible,
To be the pioneers of invincibility, unstoppable.

Do you recall me, dear?
When my voice echoed and tears flowed near
Seeking to unveil the tale's duality,
I gazed upon you, awaiting your reality.

But alas, your silence prevailed,
no glance to spare,
Leaving me in solitude,
drowning in despair.

Vanished I am, lost in the mighty current's embrace,
Its strength, a mystery beyond comprehension's trace.
The waves, like ravenous beasts, consumed my being,
Leaving no remnants, no trace of what I was seeing.
My existence, a tale of neither despair nor delight,
A void within, an elusive missing piece, out of sight.

Do you recall the echoes of your past? When love bloomed,
Both tender and vast,
In ways unfathomable,
Beyond my dreams,
With boundless passion,
Or so it seemed.
But now you've transformed,
A stranger in disguise,
And I sensed our love's demise,
Without goodbyes.

In your absence,
I am left bereft,
Unable to halt your departure,
I wept.
This world,
Unjust and unyielding,
Forced you to leave,
Your fate sealing.
With no morrow to embrace,
You bid farewell,
Erasing our trace.

Is this the moment where tears cascade?
Is this the juncture where you mold me into a need?
In the depths of your existence's shadowed trail,
When your universe was veiled, devoid of avail,
Did my name escape your lips, revealing my presence unveiled?

I hope you did
I hope you screamed my name,
Because god, I screamed yours.
