03 | Warmth of familiarity
______________________________

Upon closer inspection, you did really resemble closely to an outlander. From the way you dress, the markings on your body, and the obscure substance that wisps from your fingers every once in a while.

Wait.

The last one sounds more like a 'you' problem.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Ayaka called upon you, a gentle smile on her lips. You really owed your life to the Kamisato Clan. You probably would've died of hypothermia if it weren't for them.

You gently perked your head up. You didn't know why. Perhaps that name felt familiar to you. You watched as the light-blue-haired girl placed a blanket over your shoulders, the warm fuzzy blanket instantly helping you warm up from the cold shower you just took.

And.. that was awkward; at least for Ayaka. You practically had a training session pre-shower, going over the basic practices of hygiene since you clearly needed it. Unfortunately, the embarrassment wasn't enough to warm you up - as you had no knowledge of such an emotion - hence the blanket given by your new, blue haired friend.

Could that really be your name? Are whatever these people coming up really true?

"A..ya..k..ka.." Your words came out in a usual stammer, and Ayaka turned towards you instantaneously, a pleasant smile on her face.

Huffing, you looked down at your feet as you continued sitting on the edge of the futon. A look of frustration was evident on your face as you found this whole speaking thing to be bothersome due to the difficulty you found in forming shapes with your mouth consistently.

Doesn't that sound a lot like a certain someone.

A look of amusement was painted across the cerulean eyed's face. Though your words may not show it, your expressions prove you to be quite an expressive individual.

"Hm, and this must be..?" An unknown voice rang out suddenly, making Ayaka turn towards the source with you, following shortly. There stood her older brother by the doorway. They really looked similar, almost too similar despite the clear differences in height and gender.

Your gaze remained focused on the newcomer as you couldn't help but mistake him as your friend. Poor you had thought Ayaka duped herself.

"A..yaka..?" At that moment, your voice resonated throughout the room; hoarse and a little broken maybe due to shock. The girl turned away to hide her face behind her fan. You couldn't see the expression on her face, but she was shaking as little giggles escaped her lips.

She found it amusing how you had mistaken her brother as a clone of her. Perhaps it was even a bit satisfying. The siblings were hardly mistaken for one another, and for good reason, too, as they barely shared any identical characteristics.

"Hmm.. perhaps I am due for a small trim." The man spoke up, entering the room with elegant strides as he approached his sister; who giggled upon hearing his words. He had long hair, in the standard of men in Inazuma, even his current hair appeared way longer than average; but not long enough to be commonly mistaken as his sister.

Ayaka motioned over to the man as her gaze remained on you. Your curious e/c eyes stayed fixated on this clone, who gave you a gentle close-eyed smile.

"This is my brother, Ayato." The girl smiled proudly upon introducing her sibling. It truly seemed like a strong bond was present between the two, and you would've probably bawled your eyes upon sight of such a thing if you had ahold of your memories.

"Pleasure to meet you, madame." A lock of his blue hair fell over his face as he bowed his head down politely. The only thing you can do at that moment was look at him, with full attention and none at the same time..
