14. DESPERATE HOPE

I have this desperate hope in my heart,
There's someone out there for me;
I'd say I'm hard to love
I'm hard to be with
But he'll chuckle saying "don't worry I have the right key."

I have this desperate hope in my heart
When we meet the stars will sigh!
They'll see how he makes me feel
How his mere presence in my stomach creates that electric butterfly.

I have this desperate hope in my heart
He's been waiting for me just the way I'm waiting for this right guy;
Wishing when he'll be here he'll let me know that everything is okay
on him I can always rely.

Honestly, sitting here, writing in this room
I hope I'll have whatever my heart says
Whatever my heart prays;
But most importantly I hope I won't be just sitting here writing these poems.... I don't know till how many days.
