Shadows

They linger around me everywhere I go. Dark and scary, just like a crow.

A nest of lies, a bit of loss. A stroke of the truth, and mourning what is lost.

The nest hatched secrets, one by one. My eyes widened by the minute, watching what was done.

I cried that day, I sobbed and wept. They told the secrets they were supposed to have kept.

I tried to act and hold it in. But I was a failed actor, as my head started to spin.

It's foggy and a blur, just like my mind. If you see the shadows, who knows what you could find.
