Author's POV

Lynn woke up at 11am due to being up all night texting Autumn. It was crazy to think how one person got her so much when some of her friends didn't.

She couldn't help but wonder what Autumn looked like. Who she was. Did they know each other but it was fun remaining anonymous.

It made it easier to connect. There was no fear of judgment since they didn't know each other in person.

Lynn checked the time on her phone and jumped out of bed. She was meant to be meeting Missy in an hour.

Her mom was supposed to take her. She grabbed her toiletries and went to the bathroom which was for once empty.

As Lynn finished getting dressed in her usual red jersey, she heard the loud and annoying thrill of a whistle which could only mean one thing.....

"Family meeting!" Lynn Sr yelled to which all the Loud children groaned as they stopped what they were doing to assemble in the living room.

Soon enough, the twelve Louds assembled in the living room.

"According to my shiny new clipboard, this house is a greasy, grimy, mess," said Lynn Sr, waving a smelly toilet bowl brush around.

Oh no. Lynn Sr was currently pacing around the living room, waving a toilet brush around, and was 100% about to announce this month's chore day. Now, to be fair, the house was in pretty bad shape. The living room table and floor was littered with toys, paper, and trash, and if Lynn were being honest with herself, it didn't smell great either but to be fair that's what happens when you have thirteen people living under one roof.

Everyone immediately started to complain.

Lynn Sr tried his best to quiet his whining kids but to no avail till Rita had to do it but let Lynn Sr take the credit.

"No one gets to miss out on chore day. And no postponing either! By the end of the day, this house will be back in tip-top shape!" he explained gleefully. Behind her she could hear Lincoln sigh and strut to the couch, obviously given up.

"But dad. I have to work on my project today. Missy's already on her way over here! I can't cancel!" Lynn pleaded. "Sorry LJ. You'll have to work on your project another day. How about tomorrow?" Lynn threw her head back with a loud groan. Lynn got out her phone and sent a quick message to Missy, saying she had to cancel.

"But as I was saying, that grease and grime is no match for the loud family, because we are a what?" he twirled the brush around and pointed it at them, awaiting an answer. The sisters, plus Lincoln, shifted on their feet a bit.

"Come on. It starts with a T."

"Tired?" Luna asked with a yawn.

"Rhymes with dream!" he said exasperated, sounding mildly bothered by the family's lack of involvement.

"I had a dream that Dad was walking around waving an old nasty toilet brush at us," Leni whispered to Lynn. The athlete, who was still a bit annoyed at the fact she had to cancel working on her project whispered back.
"Not a dream Leni. You're awake. Unfortunately."

Leni moved her glasses to her forehead in surprise as Lynn Sr started handing out assignments.

"Luna, you have the windows. Leni, you're closets-"

He kept talking until he got interrupted by the doorbell.

Lola moved to go answer the door, seeing a blonde dressed in a pink tennis dress with white sandals.
