It's just an infatuation of yours, nothing more.
I believed you were the one, but your silence left me sore.
It was morning when I realized that we were wrong.
The feeling that I once had for you is gone.Gone like a mist that danced through the air.
Our conversation felt anything but fair.
You say sorry, but I'm left in pain.
Your actions felt like I'd lost a limb, a heavy strain.Did you think I'd forgotten who you are?
We cannot be here again to start a war.
I raised the flag because I knew this could never go far.
"Prison is what you are."Are you so blind that you cannot see reality?
When you banished me from your life, it gave me some clarity.
It's like I dove into the deep Weddell Sea,
And found the strength to become who I can be.
