The little child continued rummaging through the dingy cardboard boxes scattered around on the polished hardwood floor despite hearing the faint feminine calls. He had no intentions of stopping until he accurately located the object needed to participate in the sports activity hosted outside the home.
"Bubba!"
His dark hazel eyes glowed with panic and stress as the call grew louder. The item still isn't found. He breathed and sighed deeply, moving on to the next box.
