We were done eating and he said he had to go so I was now walking him outside to his car "I'm so happy you're here Kas, we've known each other for a long time now and I have a question to ask you, Kascie Johnson, will you be my girlfriend?" He said giving me a promise ring, I now it's really early, like it's the first day we see each other in person but I've known him for very long now, I did it know what to say so I just nodded , he immediately cupped my face with his hands and kissed me, not a long kiss but a short sweet one, I didn't really feel like butterflies or nothing just a kiss, he placed the ring on my finger and went to his car driving away while I just stood there .
I looked to the window of Finn's house and he was looking at me but when I caught him he walked away from his window, I ignored it and just came back inside, I stood in shock when I saw my grandpa sitting on the couch talking to my terrified mom "oh well look who it is..." he said standing up to hug me, I hugged him back worriedly but not for him, for what he was going to do to us for running away, he placed his hand on my butt and squeezed it harshly making me wince and frown of disgust, he locked the door and closed the blind's.
He started getting closer to my mom "why did u run away with my granddaughter." He said getting more and more closer until my mom back was against the wall "why!? I asked a fucking question?" He said not trying to be loud so the neighbors wouldn't be able to hear us "I don't know I'm so sorry dad I'm so-" "bedroom right now" he said and I already knew what was going to happen to her so I ran to stop him but he punched my face making me fall to the floor "leave her alone" my mom said quietly with tears on her face, he kicked my stomach leaving me on the floor wincing and crying and then proceeded to slap and punch my moms face "I told u to shut up and u don't fucking listen, room now" he said a lot more loudly, my mom ran upstairs with him behind her pushing her until they locked themselves in the bedroom.
I just knew what was going to happen to me if I wasn't asleep by the time he finished with my mom so I ran to my room and laid down in bed, my stomach ached so badly that I was crying on my pillow.
I slowly drifted to sleep..
